  • Traveling In KOREA | Jeonju Hanok Village | Traditional Korean Village
We went to Jeonju Hanok village on a 2 day trip. We took the express bus from Seoul to Jeonju, which only takes just under 3 hours, so you could totally do this trip yourself if you are visiting Korea and want to get out of Seoul for a few days. We had a really good time, we got to do all the things we had written up on our to do list. The village is beautiful and you can walk around for hours just watching all of the houses, little cafes and restaurants. And if you are up to it you can do a traditional hanok stay, which is when you sleep on teh floor, just like we did in this video. Or if you are not so keen on sleeping on the floor then you can book a modern hanok stay which is when the house still has the look of a traditional house but all the comforts of a modern home.
The hanok we stayed in was named "한옥고택고을"

These are the restaurants we ate at; "욕쌈냉면", "괭이콩나물국밥", and "베테랑칼국수"
Over all I would say that going to Jeonju was fun and I would recomend it. But if you are comin to Korea for a shorter time and don't feel like you have the time to spare for the travel back and forth from Seoul, then don't be sad, you won't have missed that much. You can pretty much do anything in Seoul. But I do feel that it is important to highlite that there are other great cities in Korea, not just Seoul. So if you have the time it is totally worth it to take a little of that time to get out of the big city.
