OMG! I was so guilty of just letting the shower do my nail clean-up. However, I have gotten somewhat better at painting them and are now using a clean up brush. Thank you for posting tips. They have helped me tremendously. 😊

Glad to hear that Angie! I think letting the shower clean is ok, as long as u create the lil separation so the polish on the skin doesn’t disturb the one on ur nail :) then it’s mostly fine!

Great tip ! I’ve tipped a toothpick with cotton wool for cleanup but will make sure I separate first from now on. 😊😊

Love your tech tip videos! Thank you. I've never found that showering or washing my hands with soap and water will remove the polish from the skin -- something about my skin makes the polish stick to it better than my nails, ha. So learning about cleanup brushes has been a real miracle fix!

Had no idea what I do to clean up is the Brazilian method. I just find it easier to scrape off the excess than to use a brush and take off too much polish.
Have you got any tips when it comes to brush clean up? Is there a brush shape that you'd say works better or gives more control? Would love to get better at it especially when I want a cleaner finish. I know it's probably down to practice but I get lazy when the scraping method works so well for me and resort to that method instead

I have a video dedicated to just clean up brushes and the diff kinds I like, it’s up on my channel, search for “clean up brush” and it has a thumbnail of a black polish mani ☺️

Ty! This one is from Dimension Nails (their #4 brush). I also buy so many brushes haha but I have recently stopped, I always end up coming back to my DN no4 and I love it haha

Where can we purchase that metal stick?

I found mine on eBay but my link doesn’t work anymore. I say just search for like “stainless steel Brazilian manicure clean up tool” or something along those lines

I've been looking to buy this stainless steel stick.. with no luck. A lot of Brazilian websites have them, of course, but they don't ship to the US. Looks like the linked ebay product is sold/ doesn't exist anymore.

That’s the bad thing about eBay listings, but if you do a search you will find it. Just search for like “stainless steel manicure clean up Brazilian” or something along those lines
