Leave in conditioner was an ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER in my life!!! Wish I'd heard of it YEAR'S AGO! For my hair type, severely dehydrated dry grass, brittle and extreme breakage...the CREAM leave in conditioner worked best, not the liquid:)
This video was so helpful! I came here because I had no idea what leave in conditioner was and I’ve never heard of it until now. But I’m trying to find a solution to my constant hair breakage.
I have tyoe 4 hair and I have that same leave in conditioner, I don't have any regular conditioner tho. I was wondering if I'd be able to use this leave in as a rinse out? The ingredients seem like they'd be good for a rinse out conditoner.
Thank you for the great explanation! I was starting to run into troubles with growing my hair as it kept getting dryer. Didn't understood that leave in conditioner is NOT a replacement for rinse out conditioner :)
I too found this product weighing down some of my curls n I noticed that some of my hair went greasy after drying. Since so many people rave about this product I think I may have applied way more than needed so gonna make some ammends as it was an expensive buy so gotta make it work..Try STC technique while using this n use it moderately n see if it helps.
If you have thin hair, avoid all these heavy products, they will weigh your hair down and the curls get weird, like straight, loose patern. You have to go for "lightweight" products and a good hold (gel or mousse) so your waves/curl can hold better. I have 3a, my hair is thin and I can not use all these heavy products, with too many heavy oils, cause my curls tend to get more "straight".
A very newbie question I know- but how does deep conditioners fit into this mix? Does it have to be a certain kind of conditioner to be a deep conditioner or will like a mask do the job? Also after you clarify/shampoo should you use a rinse- out conditioner and deep conditioner and then also add a leave in? Seems like a lot. Probably a really silly newbie question sorry but I’m just confused by all the different conditioners! ❤️
Hair masks usually are deep conditioners! If you’re clarifying I’d recommend using your deep conditioner first, then clarifying and follow up with your rinse out and leave in. I know it’s a lot of steps and you don’t have to do them all every wash day, but on days you clarify definitely make sure you’re using a deep conditioner before your actual clarifying treatment.
@@noot4111 i dont like rinse out conditioners becaus ei always have the feeling thst im missing parts of my hair and i really di enjoy the conditioner but i feel like the effect of rinse out masks conditioners and deep conditioners doesnt stay for long 🙁
I can't find a good silicone free leave-in here in Austria that's not stupidly expensive. I did find a very light conditioner, though, and I've been using that. Do you think it will make much a difference?
You can mix your conditioner with water in a spray bottle and use it as a leave in between washes, you just won’t be able to squish to condish after your regular rinse out conditioners and you’ll have to reapply it more since it’s not meant to be left in your hair for an extended period of time
I think it's really late this comment, but garnier fructis (food line) got some products that you can also use as leave-in, and they got the "air dry" aloe vera leave-in conditioner, 5 € so so. The brand "Noughty" has good products and I think they are not so expensive, from 5 to 9 € I bought them on FeelUnique website. In Müller they are selling more products curly friendly, they got Cantu and it is less than 10€, same in BIPA and DM.
Hey. Loving your channel! Got some products you use and love them so thank you! I’m looking into how to clarify my hair. See a lot of people use Apple cider vinegar... wondering if you have a method you use and like. Thanks
Hey I’m glad to hear the same products have worked well for you! I’ve used the Devacurl build up buster which is great but I also use the live clean apple cider vinegar shampoo, it has sulfate but I use a deep treatment before
No because rinse out conditioners are specifically formulated with ingredients that are not meant to be left in the hair for an extended period of time, if you want to leave something in your hair overnight try a hair mask
What's the difference between a rinse out conditioner and a deep conditioner? Do you apply deep conditioner before the shower and then rinse it out? Or do you wash your hair and apply the deep conditioner and then leave the shower and come back to rinse it out later?
The main difference is that rinse out conditioners are formulated with concentrations of ingredients that are not meant to be left on the hair for an extended period of time where as the concentrations used in deep conditioners are meant to be left on the hair longer and then rinsed out. Deep conditioners penetrate the hair shaft to deposit ingredients which is why they’re left on longer. Both should be rinsed out.

I tried different types of leave in conditioners, they make my scalp itchy, so I use Rinse out conditioners, better for me. 🌝
I really appreciate this video. It can be so hard to find objective videos on hair care products. I'm definitely subscribing
I love when I come across your videos. always straight to the point and super helpful :)
Thank you! I rarely use leave-in conditioner and I think it's because I wasn't using the right one for my hair. I'll have to add this to my routine.
What would happen if you don't rinse out the 'rinse-out conditioner' and just pat your hair dry?
YOU ARE SO PRETTY AND YOUR MAKEUP IS PERFECTION 💖💖💖
Am I the only one with the problem of my hair never drying when I use leave in conditione
You may be using a leave in that’s too heavy on emollients or you might have low porosity hair but the former is more common than the latter.
I'm a new subscriber and I love your content! Keep up the good work 👍👍👍
Thank you ive been wondering the diff bc i use in beard alot and wanted to deep condition but felt like leave in may need to be washed out.

I have this leave-in conditioner I have mixed hair wavy/curly hair (2a 2b) but it makes my hair more straight . Why??🥺 it is to heavy for my hair?

Any recommendations for leave in conditioner please!!!

i actually have the sheamoisture leave in conditioner but I find that on my 2b long hair it weighs my hair down so much
I have the same issue!
Use moderately with STC technique
@@djettesmita what is that?
Can people skip the conditioner and use only a leave-in conditioner?
Noooooo, do not skin conditioner if anything skip the leave in
@@SuhannaDeSilva 👍thanks 😊
@@SuhannaDeSilva why?
Jacqueline V. Well conditioner is very important and u generally don’t use as much leave in as you do rinse out

You don't need 2 conditioners. The hair companies made that fake rule 2 sell more product. 😒
Great video....lots of helpful info😍😍😍💕💕💕💕💕
Can o use leave in without rinse out?
You can use a rinse out without a leave in but not the other way around, you need to condition your hair immediately after shampoo
Damn I Thought You Put The Leave In Conditioner In Your For Minute Then Wash It Out
Hello ! Thank you for the video ! I want to if a leave in conditioner is like a cream ?
Very useful!! Thanks Gorgeous ❤️
Do you put in your leave in conditioner after the hair is dry

Could I substitute leave-in conditioner with a rinse out conditioner?
Sorry love. Leave conditioner doesn't have to be washed?
No at all you just need to towel dried your hair after shampoo/conditioner
Big help thank you

No because rinse out conditioners are specifically formulated with ingredients that are not meant to be left in the hair for an extended period of time, if you want to leave something in your hair overnight try a hair mask
Do you apply leave in to wet hair and not wash it out until your next wash day?
Yes
Can I use a rinse out conditioner as a leave in?
I wouldn’t recommend leaving in a product that’s* formulated to be rinsed out.
Is any of your parents brazilian? Da Silva is such a brazilian name (Im brazilian btw)
Not Brazilian but we’ve been colonized by the same people lmao

Ahh I accidentally used a rinse out conditioner as a leave in will that damage my hair
If you’re doing it consistently you may experience adverse effects regarding build up, etc, definitely try to rinse it out!
Should I wash my hair after leave in conditioner ?
Nope
