Great video! For those that are curious, what makes exposed electrical components expensive is the quality control. In my neck of the woods, it takes a skilled electrician to run conduit straight; whether its EMT or Rigid.
Thank you so much for uploading 😊 Your video really helped me do my first ever lighting plan. Really enjoy your set up and ambience in all your videos. ❤️
+WeDareToPrepare many thanks, glad you're enjoying it. Construction is under way, hope to have it completed by the spring. You can follow along by subscribing the playlist for the studio videos is located here: th-cam.com/play/PLuJj3iQpiK3v7tqYStltImkMxe2iu-l_L.html Cheers...
Concrete floors require lots of pre-planning prior to the pour. We usually run conduits beneath the slab connecting the panel location to anything that will be floating in the floor (island, floor outlets, etc.).
+Hadeel Ghazwan thanks for your kind words. For square meters multiply the area by 16.66 If you're using CFL or LED you'll want to use "equivalent wattage" (13W CFL can have an equivalent wattage of 60W for example)... Cheers...
First things first, thank you for your willingness to share your knowledge. You are truly a servant. Like everybody else, your videos have given me lots of insight. Thanks. One question, you said to multiply square area by 1.5 = ttl wattage for area. How do I divide the wattage into circuits? i.e, spot light and so on. Thanks and take care.
Excellent ideas... But.. Why use switches? Why not do RF remote controlled lighting. I'm not talking about expensive and unnecessarily complex WIFI ones. I'm talking about a simple relay box outputs operated by one or more remotes. I'm sure there are ones with dimmers as well. I'm thinking about doing that in my cave so I'm interested in hearing opinions on that idea.
Very helpful video, regarding the lamp sample and other product samples such as specialist types of hinges you often show, is this something you bought yourself or did you ask for a sample from the manufacturer?

Very nicely put together.
As well as plan, elevation drawings assist in visualizing the appropriate height of light switches and the power points.
This is really awesome. I really appreciate the opportunity to learn these things from you.
thanks for watching +adesola adebiyi
I really really enjoy your videos. I learned a lot of things from you, Sir./ Arch't. Thank you so much.
Glad you're finding them helpful...cheers...

I am definitely enjoying the series. I like the video format also. Looking forward to seeing some construction. Are you planning this for the spring?

Great explanations. I really like those inexpensive light fixtures. Any idea where you found them or what the maufacturer was?
In the case of putting switches on an island kitchen bench on a polished concrete floor, how is that done?

Well I always lose remote controls somewhere in the room. And with a switch, you will always find it in the same place.

I purchase all of these myself...
Very helpful video. Thanks for share your experiences. Thank you so much. ;)
Thank you! will do this in the future. :)
