Yeah, that would’ve taken it up a notch! It has expression so you could use the expression ramper with it, but yeah it would have to be sync’d by ear haha. Unless there’s some kind of CV>EXP box out there! Haven’t explored that
Hey thanks for the compliment! You know, I used to care if pedals were digital or analog, but honestly I stopped caring personally because in the end it's all about the sound. I've heard some fantastic digital stuff and some terrible analog stuff haha. That being said the float has an analog signal path but it is controlled digitally, so kind of a hybrid!
Haha yeah, unless you know what a dual filter with modulation sounds like - which is to say it’ll sound just like a filtered version of whatever you put through it - but crazier haha! It’s definitely a different one! You like it or no?
Hm you can't exactly fairly compare them. This does things the MF-101 can't do, but also the MF-101 just sounds so damn good. For sound the MF-101 is definitely in the lead, but you'd need two of them to do what this does, and well, that's even more expensive!
Thank you! I don’t remember any trouble with it at all, at least not more than any other mostly-well-behaved pedal lol, but I always make sure my levels are in a good place before shooting these. I did have my output level down a bit from the Digitone for this one so it might’ve been a tad hot. I haven’t been in town much the last month to mess with it much, but I’ll get back to you with more specifics soon!

I have lusted this pedal for awhile, what it does is amazing, but that artwork just pushes it over the top.

Lack of external CV, etc. sync is the main reason I’ve avoided Float, though I’ve definitely been interested in it. Nice demo!

How would you compare this to the MoogerFooger MF-101? MF101 is so expensive....
