Yes, they added Velo Mask, now we know the invincibility weapon:
Aku Aku:
Crash, Coco, Polar, Pura, Crunch, Fake Crash, Tawna, Trophy Girls and Penta Penguin
Uka Uka:
Dr. Cortex, N. Gin, Tiny, Dingodile, Ripper Roo, Papu Papu, Komodo Joe, Pinstripe, N. Trance and N. Tropy
Velo Mask:
Zam, Zem, Real Velo, Krunk, Nash, Norms, Geary and Oxide
Penta gets the Uka Uka Mask too. Unless in this new patch he only gets the Aku Aku one now

Makes sense from a continuity perspective. I mean, the Velo Mask isn't Velo himself. If Velo were to give hints, it would be in his Emperor persona, which would be weird if he was giving advice to his Real form.

don't know if many knows this, but when you're in the first place during racing, all of your items would be something that slow down others from getting past you like TNT boxes , and in order to get the mask easier you have to make sure that your character is in 5th place and below

What bugs me is that the Velo Mask protects N. Trance. I understand that N. Trance raced under the second of Emperor Velo XXVII's racing teams as the team leader, and therefore got the Velo Mask as his patron mask. But outside Crash Nitro Kart, he is allied with Uka Uka. Therefore, it is disappointing that he isn't allied with Uka Uka in Nitro-Fueled. I don't want the majority of Crash Bandicoot fans to forget that N. Trance was allied with Doctor Nefarious Tropy and Uka Uka in his debut appearance.
To be fair, Oxide uses Uka Uka despite never working for him and also using the Velo Mask in Nitro Kart. It balances it out.
@@DrRank Still, it doesn't make a lot of sense. Since N. Trance did work for Uka Uka at one point, unlike Nitros Oxide who has never been directly allied with Uka Uka.
Yeah(I guess). Though it’s still interesting to see better variation of masks over the roster especially considering rumored future character additions sound in general more appropriate using aku and uka instead. If it helps remember N. Trance was never exactly confirmed set loyalty toward anyone specific before commissioned by tropy-greater evident if realistically(in personality) just leaving after being fried since the transition from N. Tranced so there’s still bit of potential for an alliance with Velo.
What's more disappointing for me is that, instead of the evil emperor laugh that was in the original nitro kart, they instead put the real velo voice for it... Did they not get the voice actor flr big velo or something?
@@c.syde65 to be frank, the guy first appearance was in a game that was only available on the gameboy, I doubt many knows who that guy is or care about him.

Hey! Great vid but i have to say to everyone... Corrupted Data are still here! I lost my data (skins, trials, colors, kart and N.Tropy, Penta Pinguin) many stuff we unlock in aventure mode. I have my 101% at my adventure mode but the problem are still here.

I have a theory that it’s might be the 1st Emperor Velo
There was really no info about it, Since Velo, N. Trance and the aliens didn't had any alignment to both good and evil, they had to use a different protective mask. My guess is that is the counterpart of the tiki masks (Aku and Uka) from their planet.
i mean, N.Trance was an ally of N.Tropy, so he should have Uka Uka, Oxide should have a anti-gravity thingy...or something, while Zem and Zam are Velo's minions so it makes sense that they have Velo's Mask
I think i can straight some line here:
1. In CNK, the story continues after oxide being beaten in CTR race and velo heard about the even, so he allied oxide and trance to race along with team crash/cortex. And since velo held the diamond staff that was considered powerfull in his galaxy, i guess its not hard to make one for himself since hes an emperor of the galaxy.
2. Yes Trance is an aquitance of trophy, but he didnt worked with uka², in crash 2 gba, he was there to help n.trophy to hypnotize the bandicoots just like what he did with pura, polar and dingodile in CNK
I personally think Velo created the mask himself, which is why it is just called "Velo Mask" and it doesn't have any speaking lines.

They did, you don't really notice it here because they use Real Velo's laugh for the mask as well...

Hey here's a real brain buster, now that the velo mask is now included, does Uka Uka still guide you during adventure mode?
I checked for myself, Uka Uka is still the guide for the CNK villains.
Doesn't make sense though sure they're evil and so is Uka Uka but why does Uka Uka help them? They don't serve him they do velo's bidding.
Probably because they didn't have Velo's voice actor on hand at the time. Or something like that.

ikr! Maybe if there is a Grand Prix that unlocks him (as well as his kart maybe?) they will add a patch that gives the mask a laugh. They might not have a Fake Velo voice actor to make that laugh possible.

This has two options one of them is true
1. Emperor velo is going to be a playable character someday
2. Probably the code was emperor velo's hologram in hyper speedway

Nash was better suited with Uka Uka tbh even though he served Velo in Nitro Kart
Although Nash and the others CNK bosses didn't had protective masks (they weren't playable) they were on Velo's alignment so it would make more sense if they had to use Velo mask

Es porque es un remix de Aku Aku con la de Velo de CNK. Ojala en el futuro hagan lo mismo con la de Aku Aku de CTR y la de N. Sane Trilogy como base

The track isn't bad, but is not so good neither, crash cove is plain too so this fit to the game perfectly
