English fans like to hype up the premier league and their own players yet an elite winger like him gets too much criticism. Many people forget that he’s still only 22 years old but it seems like he’s been around for a while. Someone of his age, how many of them can go from starting your career off at LB to being an elite winger a couple of years later. He’s leading a team that’s top of the premier league and have gone deep in the champions league as well. At his age, he’s already been involved in over 100 G/A for Arsenal, has had 3 consecutive seasons of 10+ goals in the Premier League, back to back 10+ goals and 10+ assists seasons and so far he’s having his best statistical wise even if his performances haven’t been as good as last season’s. 17 goals and 13 assists 30 G/A in all competitions 14 goals in the premier league alone, I don’t care what people think, do you know how good you have to be to be 22 years old producing this in the most competitive league in the world.

I'm a Barca fan. I don't hate Saka and I don't like the Foden - Saka debate. It's meaningless. They are two different types of players. Foden is an AMF, a no. 10. Saka is a pure winger (without the skills). Saka is a great winger, definitely not a flashy one like you said in the video but he's very effective. I agree that stats aren’t everything and you can’t use that to judge players unless you watch them off the eye test, but still he’s an elite winger regardless. From his breakthrough season to now, he’s been such an important player for Arsenal and it seems like regardless of fitness and form he has to play every game. At one point he played in 82 consecutive games in the Premier League and in their team he’s genuinely irreplaceable which is why Arteta doesn’t rest him a lot even though I fear a “possible burnout” from him. I also think that Arsenal needs to suck up and deal with him being targeted by opposing defenders in the premier league because he gets targeted a lot and is among the most fouled players in Europe, but every great player goes through that treatment nothing new with Saka. I still don’t think that Bukayo Saka is world class but I think there’s some unfair misconceptions about him due to his penalty miss in the EUROs final in 2021, and being part of an Arsenal team that bottled the premier league. Many see him as a “bottler” “stat merchant” and someone who ghosts in big games it seems like this overshadows what he can do and while he’s an excellent player from a career perspective I think he has to do more for club and country.
