Interviews like this one with Mary Helen are slowly helping me to get ready to break free of the restrictions i've put around myself, like she was talking about , and move out of my comfort zone. Felt myself shifting a bit as she was talking as if i was getting ready to jump out of a plane or something.

You provide helpful references at the end, and think of everything so that your viewers are not left in the dark in how to navigate to more material. You're smart, positive, articulate, confident and personable, and the perfect kind of person to be a credible, leading researcher and interviewer in this subject. Made it--and amazed, as always. Mary Helen really 'stayed with me', as she reminded me, with no uncertainty, that we are NOT out bodies--but our experiences and how we learn. I dwell on that fact so much more now---the 'me' as 'the experiencer'--not the 'me as permanent in my body'. I really just 'borrowed' this body!! Mary Helen makes that so clear (Now, of course, I wonder if my twin Alice and I shared something special BEFORE we chose our 'adventure together'?? So many questions--so much to look forward to!❤ See you both in Part II!! ❤Lynn in NYC

I find this one particularly interesting because it parallels something I experienced. When I was four I was murdered and at that time I flatly refused to leave my body. They were trying to give me a life review to snap me out of it, and I was not having it. So I know this thing where we have choices about how we die. I was working with a suicide at one point in my career as a medium, and she also didn’t want to leave her body. I had to send a special extraction team to convince her to come to my house to chill until the police found her body. I also remember a past life where I did the same thing as Mary Helen and left my body earlier and watched myself die. We definitely have choices about how we experience our exits.

I was drawn to Mary Helen's testimony in part 1. Looking forward to part 2. The one thing she shared was the moment right before the impact of her death. I always wondered if we experience the pain associated w/the type of death we encounter. Our Father is very loving and doesn't allow us that trauma. This gave me peace of mind not just for me, but for my loved ones should their passing be a painful experience.

I find it interesting that she knew she’s “done this before” and was given a choice in slow motion whether to experience her death in or out of the body. She said she is certain that happens to everyone before they exit, but some experiencers describe not realizing they are dead until they are out of the body. Just curious if I will get a heads up. I would certainly choose to watch my death from outside. lol.
I’m also curious to know what her religious parents thought of her experience and if they believed her.

I happen to think she’s genuine. It’s not “out of the box” for me. She is experiencing what the ancients have always said “there is only one” and we are that. We are pure conscience in essence and we are having a human experience. Thanks Heather for another fabulous guest.

I really enjoyed Mary's experience and how she was so authentic in her narrative. I had my own NDE in 2010 and we know NDE is simply a euphuism for a death experience. A couple of things she said stand out for me, one in trying to get others to understand deeper knowledge and having it available but trying to share it with those that are not able to understand anything outside their little bubble is, or was frustrating for me, until Mary made the point that has nothing to do with you. I had been starting to take on the idea that it had something to do with me not being able to convey my message, but it is true it has nothing to do with me and everything to do with whether the individual is ready to hear it. The other thing was how we can get caught up in running our work or actions through everyone else's filters and basing personal judgements about how we are according to the consensus of those filters. Subtle and profound. Thank you!

Just imagine being someone like Galileo or a scientist back then. Imagine how hard it was for people to believe what now seems so obvious. I think what you are experiencing is very much like that. Many people are not ready to hear it but that doesn’t mean it isn’t true. Best wishes!

When people start talking about previous lives it just loses my intrest. When you hear other people's testimonies, when they meet God or Jesus, they get so emotional, they can't hold back their tears because of how profound that experience was, and talking about it takes them back to that moment. The way this lady talks about it is how i would tell a friend about my trip to disney world. No deep emotions at all. I'm not her, so i don't know for sure , but this doesn't seem like a real account to me. God came to me a year ago, transformed my life in 20 minutes. Something pulled me to go into church, i sat down in a pew , and started crying uncontrollably for 20 minutes. Which was very surprising to me. I left the church and was completely changed, i couldn't listen to rap music no more (it used to be one of my favorite genras) i couldn't use curse words, and God put a strong hunger in my soul to read the Bible. It all happened in those 20 minutes in that church. The Bible doesn't say anything about past lives, i believe this idea was created by the dark side to make people think that if they mess up in this life they can fix it in the next. It's not like that, we only have this life, and we should do our best to follow God and not sin.

Great interview Heather; have seen Mary Helen before and love her energy! Unlike a comment I saw below earlier today, I don't sense a thread of disingenuousness with her. Only one of all your interviews, set off🚩's for me.
One thing that jumped out for me here, is her mention of the "drone" sound, and it's "tying us to the body". Not sure if you have any experience with the Gateway Mediations, but in the "Energy Conversion Box" part, I have a real struggle sometimes, in breaking my connection to physicality. It's like I'm tied. 🤔 Something for me to investigate. Looking forward to part two 🙂

Good afternoon Heather. I enjoy your channel and consider it one of the best NDE channels on TH-cam. I find most of your guests top niche and authentic and noted many of the commenters expressed great love and appreciation for Mary Helen and her story, most seem to have heard her before elsewhere. Unfortunately for me the experience was less than positive due to the decidedly sub par quality of the audio. I have some hearing "challenges" shall we say and need to listen to everything through headphones. Some of your previous guests have gad issues with the audio quality, most typically echoing from the environment probably due to an inferior microphone but I could usually get through the show and the subsequent parts if any. This one was for me basically unwatchable and I had to resort to the closed captioning. I'm sure my experience was probably unique but maybe not entirely. I know you have available very skilled technical support and I would really appreciate it if you could have someone review the program for audio issues before posting. There are many simple tools for significantly improving audio post production. Maybe for part 2? In the meantime I will go out and see if I can find her other interviews since so many of your viewers expressed high praise for her and her story. All the best 🙏✌️

I appreciate your feedback. This audio was corrected in post production. It didn’t start out great and we tried to correct it. My editor tried to adjust part two even more. Unfortunately we can only control our end and post production but not the equipment of my guest. I am so sorry.

@@Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch Many thanks for your quick response. That seems to be a widespread issue out there especially when some just use their smartphone. Such a shame when nowadays there are very good and inexpensive option. Mabe a "mike test" before starting the recording? Was into filmmaking and played in bands back in the late 60's and was an AT for 4 years in the 70's. Thio Joe has a good segment on audio post provssing. Audacity is free and open source and though limited has been pretty useful for me. Anyway, I did manage to go to and listen to several other interviews with Mary Helen and can certainly understand and second the positive comments about her. She is one of the very few NDEer's who has come closest to answering one of my most persistent questions. They all talk about being immersed in something like called live as if everyone would get what they are talking about but in reality divine love isn't anything like human or earthly love. She at least gave it something to hang on to by describing it as a palpable vibration almost a substance. That seems why they say we are made of it since everything seems to be vibrational energy of some kind. How can we be that? Isn't that the core "lesson" we are supposed to be here for? My 2 cents. My personal search. 🙏🙏🤷‍♂️💪😎

So many NDEers talk about life as a game, illusion, play, etc. and that is hard to understand because those don't matter and life matters very much, but we keep being told it doesn't and it's not real. It's a strange concept. I like Dr. Hensley's account and how she describes it. I believe this really happened, but it also seems that people who have these NDEs have paranormal experiences as a child, so I wonder if people who have those childhood experiences are the only ones who have NDEs like this one.

I have a question that has often come to mind, Heather. Some people experience a life review in their NDE and some haven't. But for those who do see their whole life pass by, when they return to the physical, do they then still remember the entire course of their lives?
I hardly remember what I ate for dinner last week, or even more significant details 😅. I don't think the average person does. But do NDE-ers who got a life review remember?

    • @Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch
      @Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

That is a great question and one I'll have to ask. I do know they remember at least parts of it, including things they had forgotten previously.
