I love your show. I lost my son 4 years ago to a drug overdose. It was totally unthinkable that I’d never see him again. I was raised Catholic but I’m not a practicing Catholic as an adult. I worried my son wouldn’t go to heaven because of how he died even though he had a good heart. Many of these stories convince me and give me hope that I’ll see him again. I hope he felt that love and peace that so many near death experiencers talk about and now I’ll always wonder if he had a choice to stay or come back! Thank you for doing this podcast. Kathryn as the mother of a son my heart absolutely breaks for you. I am so very sorry for your loss. I truly can’t imagine. Your son is in such an incredible place that if he was given a choice it would have been almost impossible to not choose to stay. He is surrounded by so much love and beauty beyond anything we can imagine. I have an upcoming guest who died as a teen and she talked about surfing on an energy wave when she was in Heaven. She said it was the most fun she has ever had. Your son is probably partaking in similar activities. It is very possible, even likely that your son served his purpose here on Earth and this was the time he was meant to leave. I know more than anything you want him back, I would too if it were my son, but he is immersed in love and wants you to be happy until you meet up again - and you will meet up again. Made it! I really connected to Brian’s story (& his MN ties). One thing that really hit home for me was when he mentioned he did not always speak up to defend someone or defend what was right as it wasn’t politically correct or accepted by who he was with at the time. He thought he was being polite but now realized his INaction was uncharitable, was unloving. He chose his personal acceptance over fear of upsetting others. Now he knows there are delicate ways to share truth so others can “hear” and maybe learn. It’s so true how if we really look at ourselves, fear drives a lot we do or don’t do.
This gets convoluted for me. It's not safe for me to confront others and I'm even told not to do it in my natal chart (in my case, which it says is rare.) So I don't know if I'm doing this right or wrong. I follow my intuition but it's led me into trouble many times too. I guess I'll just wait for them to ding me on the other side for everything I got wrong when I have my life review.
That resonated with me but for different reasons. I recently had a conversation with my mother about that very thing. She likes to remain quiet and not say anything. To keep the peace. Although sticking up for things I believed were right caused me great pain I did it anyway. I will still do it and I think that is what makes me unique. I was the kid who would call out the bully who made fun of the kid who was handicap exc. I was and I’m still that person. I can’t change it but it can be painful to do the right thing. At one point my entire family was angry at me and expressed. Ppl were saying the most vile things and it was all because I stuck up for my cousin when her son physically assaulted her. My mom said stay out of it. It’s not your problem. No one had my cousins back and I watched her feel so much pain while my family chose the side of the person who assaulted her. I’ll never forget it as long as I live.

Brian has a Miraculous Medal tattooed on the back of his right hand, and (I assume) the sacred Heart of Jesus on the left. Yet in all of his interviews I have ever seen, no one ever asks him about his dedication to Mary. I am sure it must be because he is mostly interviewed by protestant based programs; and his testimony about Jesus is powerful in itself. Still, I wish someone would ask him why he got those tattoos and if he saw Our Blessed Mother.

Jesus looks like what we create in our minds. :) people seem to experience what their belief systems were prior to their experience. He thought he would see Jesus because it was his core beliefs and he created that experience of God/Spirit. Very cool.
That is very possible and what many people say. I am open to a lot of possibilities because the more I learn the less I realize I know. I have a guest coming up that is Jewish and didn’t expect to see Jesus and she did. But, as you indicated, others see other religious figures and of course, many see none. There is so much beyond my human understanding that awaits us, and it is exciting to discover what I can.

Hi Heather. You were right about suggesting I watch Brian's NDE experience. Funny how things dovetail so easily. I too am retired army. I went into the army one year after high school, and like Brian, I too became a Military Policeman. I served from August 1972 until September 1992 when i was honorably discharged. And also like Brian, I earned my Associates, Bachelors and Masters degrees after my discharge. Unlike Brian I have not had an NDE. My wife died on March 6 of this year and I watch these videos in the hope of being closer to her and to what will happen when I cross over. I'm glad that Brian survived and shared this experience with all of us. I too like him also have made the choice based on my desires not to cause waves, instead of speaking up and doing what was right. “Made it”. This was a beautiful testimony and he was so easy to listen to. It was refreshing to hear him talk about God’s love being not only infinite, but inclusive to everyone. I’ve listened to other testimonies where the person goes on & on about how loved they felt…..only to not include their listeners in that love. Having suffered two severe betrayals in my life, I look forward to experiencing that kind of love, all the time.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I have watched countless NDEs and majority of them go to void/darkness and see a light in the distance that gradually grows and then they are in the light. This has nothing to do with Jesus. It is so interesting how people’s belief system on earth affects how they speak and interpret their NDE. Pay attention to the words he chooses to explain his NDE: Jesus, He, submission, sins, he suffered for me, guilt, etc. These are all his earthy beliefs that colored the way he interpreted his NDE. Now if he were a Muslim the language would have changed to Muhammad, Allah, etc.
I think that, just like here on earth, we experience things such as this in our own unique way. No one person has the same experience here while physically alive… why would the afterlife be any different? It would be exactly as we needed it to be, for us. That includes ppl going to hell, etc. On that side, we create our reality, instantly. God/Source/Higher Power, knows us much better than we know ourselves. So we are given what we need after leaving this beautiful, but dense, 3D plain. And of course, these are simply my thoughts. Everyone is more than welcome to interpret these things on their own. Thanks Heather and Brian. I have my issues with this whole suffer and enjoy it thing, but I really do get a lot out of hearing these experiences and what you learn and then share with us about them. It's the closest to God that I can get and I really want to try to live my life "right" because I feel tortured most of the time. Maybe I just have really bad karma. 🤷♀ Who knows, since they wipe our memories clean before we come back here. I just know I'm trying and it matters. People do not want to end up being in my shoes, plus it would be wonderful if humanity could evolve and start acting better towards each other and all other living beings. I have hope for that because the alternative is pure Hell.

Hi Heather Thankyou for this uplifting NDE. I believe that our Heavenly Creator is all LOVE and positivity. My NDE was a very positive experience. I am not so sure about the future prophecies all about doom and gloom. In my NDE I understood that heavenly enlightened beings do not interfere in our affairs or create any type of fear. Heather, Love your channel. Several years ago I started the practice of praying, contemplation and meditation, which in my mind are the same. I spend about an hour in the morning, with this practice and my tea. I also read and watch your channel. What strikes me about these accounts, are the consistency and uniqueness, of each one. The description of the straw and Gods love is absolutely profound and strikingly unique. Most experiencers relate the “Light” and how all beings are light and reflecting from that Light. This is so consistent with the Transfiguration. As I have mentioned before, my tradition and thus my Belief is Christian, these accounts only strengthen and enhance my Faith. Through my Faith, Contemplation and study of Quantum physics I have very little anxiety. I just Trust. ….one thing you might consider for the future, is some exploration of the Shroud of Turin. @@Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch I am afraid of Hell. So get triggered to easily. Also Nihilism triggers me. There is a Christian group called Christian Universalism which teaches that everyone goes back to God eventually. They do not believe in eternal hell fire and damnation.
Jillian I don’t have all the answers but I have heard from countless NDErs. I think the Hell you fear is not an accurate description and is more of a misconception and misinterpretation by man. Although churches like to hold to their view of fire and brimstone and eternal suffering, many bible scholars will tell you is inaccurate. Additionally many Near Death Experiencers describe hell as more of a place that really messed up humans go where they can recalibrate and learn to be better souls. It is not an eternal place of punishment. The mere fact that you are searching to know God better so you don’t go there is proof that you won’t go there. What God would punish someone for seeking to know him better? Even if we don’t get it all right, God still knows our intention is to know God better. You are deeply loved by God.

Marie suffering joyfully is a tough one! It is a great goal but really hard to actually do. I love the name of your cat. Is Sundance a stinker like mine? LOL.
To be honest, it's hard to find peace in these NDEs after you have objectively studied them a long time. I have listened to and read thousands of NDEs that you eventually notice common reoccurring themes, such as reincarnation, infinite lives, infinite lessons, infinite payment for bad choices. The stories show we live multiple lives until we learn the lessons we were meant to on this earth - that life's just a "testing" realm. Ok, so I guess in the next life I'll just go be a slave building the pyramids, or tortured to death in medieval ages, or buried alive, etc etc. into infinity... Oh and btw, the largest NDE study ever conducted by the NIH (National Institute of Health) stated that up to 30% of all NDEs experienced going to hell. Wow. Not to mention the majority of NDEs report having to "pay" or "experience" all pain you ever inflicted on others to the tenth degree as part of the "learning process." Yeah... so much to look forward to. These reported heavenly experiences, feeling of love, feelings of understanding; once you put the pieces of the stories together they all appear transitory before you go onto the next life and it's lessons and consequences and endless suffering. We hear these NDEs of beauty and love, but that stage is temporary before you move into the next phase, apparently. Please tell me this is not the reality we have facing us. Smh. You know, when I first started listening to NDEs they gave me so much peace about death and the after life, but when you really start putting it all together, it does not look pleasant at all in the long run.
I am sorry you feel this way. I wish you didn’t. From our human perspective some things may seem overwhelming but we will understand things so much better after this life. I have also listened to thousands and talked to many Near Death Experiencers and I see something far more beautiful, positive and loving. I do not think this is an endless cycle of pain. All of my guests have talked about the incredible love they experienced. I think there is incredible beauty that awaits us that is so far beyond human understanding. I wish you the best.
I totally relate. I've read every NDE I can find online. They were the first thing I looked up when I finally got to be online in 1998. I read them daily, and have been listening to them in videos now for about 15 years as well. I'm bedridden so I have endless amounts of time to think about what they mean. I no longer know what to think about life and death anymore either. I mean at first I was all happy with what I was learning too and it seemed like it was ultimately all good. Well, now I think, maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I don't think we can really know while we're humans on Earth.
@@Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch I appreciate your words, but I honestly wouldn't say my analysis of thousands of NDEs is me "just feeling that way." Anyone who really looks at these NDEs objectively in terms of the full picture will see that it doesn't look particularly optimistic in the long run (in the short term it has the potential to be beautiful yes, but not strategically speaking). I wish it was just about feelings and a personal outlook... as you say, but these are the reported testimonies and published studies. These are the facts and the literature we have to go on.
I believe that when we go to the afterlife we spend an immense amount of time there being in the love. It is my belief that these lives we live are just blips compared to the amount of time we spend in the afterlife. So yes there is a lot of suffering we endure in this world but it is minuscule compared to the amount of time we spend in the afterlife in God's love and peace.
So one of your messages is that we have to believe in God or we won't make the right decisions. For instance, I'm in pain and sickness every day. Now imagine having to go through that for the rest of your life. Well, it's been 20 years of this already and people with my illnesses live into their 80s and 90s quite often, so I probably have decades left to go like this every single day. I also can't handle any pain meds, not even aspirin. So why do I stay? Because I looked into suicide NDEs and found out God told them they'll just have to come back and live through it all again and make a different decision next time. So my FEAR of God keeps me here. I love your show. I lost my son 4 years ago to a drug overdose. It was totally unthinkable that I’d never see him again. I was raised Catholic but I’m not a practicing Catholic as an adult. I worried my son wouldn’t go to heaven because of how he died even though he had a good heart. Many of these stories convince me and give me hope that I’ll see him again. I hope he felt that love and peace that so many near death experiencers talk about and now I’ll always wonder if he had a choice to stay or come back! Thank you for doing this podcast. Kathryn as the mother of a son my heart absolutely breaks for you. I am so very sorry for your loss. I truly can’t imagine. Your son is in such an incredible place that if he was given a choice it would have been almost impossible to not choose to stay. He is surrounded by so much love and beauty beyond anything we can imagine. I have an upcoming guest who died as a teen and she talked about surfing on an energy wave when she was in Heaven. She said it was the most fun she has ever had. Your son is probably partaking in similar activities. It is very possible, even likely that your son served his purpose here on Earth and this was the time he was meant to leave. I know more than anything you want him back, I would too if it were my son, but he is immersed in love and wants you to be happy until you meet up again - and you will meet up again. Made it! I really connected to Brian’s story (& his MN ties). One thing that really hit home for me was when he mentioned he did not always speak up to defend someone or defend what was right as it wasn’t politically correct or accepted by who he was with at the time. He thought he was being polite but now realized his INaction was uncharitable, was unloving. He chose his personal acceptance over fear of upsetting others. Now he knows there are delicate ways to share truth so others can “hear” and maybe learn. It’s so true how if we really look at ourselves, fear drives a lot we do or don’t do.
That is a great point that you brought up which Brian shared. It is one we can all learn from.
This gets convoluted for me. It's not safe for me to confront others and I'm even told not to do it in my natal chart (in my case, which it says is rare.) So I don't know if I'm doing this right or wrong. I follow my intuition but it's led me into trouble many times too. I guess I'll just wait for them to ding me on the other side for everything I got wrong when I have my life review.
That resonated with me but for different reasons. I recently had a conversation with my mother about that very thing. She likes to remain quiet and not say anything. To keep the peace. Although sticking up for things I believed were right caused me great pain I did it anyway. I will still do it and I think that is what makes me unique. I was the kid who would call out the bully who made fun of the kid who was handicap exc. I was and I’m still that person. I can’t change it but it can be painful to do the right thing. At one point my entire family was angry at me and expressed. Ppl were saying the most vile things and it was all because I stuck up for my cousin when her son physically assaulted her. My mom said stay out of it. It’s not your problem. No one had my cousins back and I watched her feel so much pain while my family chose the side of the person who assaulted her. I’ll never forget it as long as I live.
Another amazingly beautiful story. To see others the way God sees them is one of the highest human aspirations I can imagine. ❤

Brian has a Miraculous Medal tattooed on the back of his right hand, and (I assume) the sacred Heart of Jesus on the left. Yet in all of his interviews I have ever seen, no one ever asks him about his dedication to Mary. I am sure it must be because he is mostly interviewed by protestant based programs; and his testimony about Jesus is powerful in itself. Still, I wish someone would ask him why he got those tattoos and if he saw Our Blessed Mother.

Jesus looks like what we create in our minds. :) people seem to experience what their belief systems were prior to their experience. He thought he would see Jesus because it was his core beliefs and he created that experience of God/Spirit. Very cool.
That is very possible and what many people say. I am open to a lot of possibilities because the more I learn the less I realize I know. I have a guest coming up that is Jewish and didn’t expect to see Jesus and she did. But, as you indicated, others see other religious figures and of course, many see none. There is so much beyond my human understanding that awaits us, and it is exciting to discover what I can.

Hi Heather. You were right about suggesting I watch Brian's NDE experience. Funny how things dovetail so easily. I too am retired army. I went into the army one year after high school, and like Brian, I too became a Military Policeman. I served from August 1972 until September 1992 when i was honorably discharged. And also like Brian, I earned my Associates, Bachelors and Masters degrees after my discharge. Unlike Brian I have not had an NDE. My wife died on March 6 of this year and I watch these videos in the hope of being closer to her and to what will happen when I cross over.
I'm glad that Brian survived and shared this experience with all of us. I too like him also have made the choice based on my desires not to cause waves, instead of speaking up and doing what was right. It embarrasses me to admit this, but admitting it is the first part of healing, or so I've been told.

“Made it”. This was a beautiful testimony and he was so easy to listen to. It was refreshing to hear him talk about God’s love being not only infinite, but inclusive to everyone. I’ve listened to other testimonies where the person goes on & on about how loved they felt…..only to not include their listeners in that love. Having suffered two severe betrayals in my life, I look forward to experiencing that kind of love, all the time.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I have watched countless NDEs and majority of them go to void/darkness and see a light in the distance that gradually grows and then they are in the light. This has nothing to do with Jesus. It is so interesting how people’s belief system on earth affects how they speak and interpret their NDE. Pay attention to the words he chooses to explain his NDE: Jesus, He, submission, sins, he suffered for me, guilt, etc. These are all his earthy beliefs that colored the way he interpreted his NDE. Now if he were a Muslim the language would have changed to Muhammad, Allah, etc.

I think that, just like here on earth, we experience things such as this in our own unique way. No one person has the same experience here while physically alive… why would the afterlife be any different? It would be exactly as we needed it to be, for us. That includes ppl going to hell, etc. On that side, we create our reality, instantly. God/Source/Higher Power, knows us much better than we know ourselves. So we are given what we need after leaving this beautiful, but dense, 3D plain. And of course, these are simply my thoughts. Everyone is more than welcome to interpret these things on their own. Here is another possible interpretation of using the Jesus meme...it is the exact vehicle this man needs in order to see truth, beauty and goodness clearly. What is your vehicle? Being an incarnate human being by defi nition means we need our own custom made vehicle to explore transcendent reality.

Thanks Heather and Brian. I have my issues with this whole suffer and enjoy it thing, but I really do get a lot out of hearing these experiences and what you learn and then share with us about them. It's the closest to God that I can get and I really want to try to live my life "right" because I feel tortured most of the time. Maybe I just have really bad karma. 🤷♀ Who knows, since they wipe our memories clean before we come back here. I just know I'm trying and it matters. People do not want to end up being in my shoes, plus it would be wonderful if humanity could evolve and start acting better towards each other and all other living beings. I believe that our Heavenly Creator is all LOVE and positivity. My NDE was a very positive experience.
I am not so sure about the future prophecies all about doom and gloom. In my NDE I understood that heavenly enlightened beings do not interfere in our affairs or create any type of fear.
Consequently, I am not sure where or what entities this type of information comes from.

Heather, Love your channel. Several years ago I started the practice of praying, contemplation and meditation, which in my mind are the same. I spend about an hour in the morning, with this practice and my tea. I also read and watch your channel. What strikes me about these accounts, are the consistency and uniqueness, of each one. The description of the straw and Gods love is absolutely profound and strikingly unique. Most experiencers relate the “Light” and how all beings are light and reflecting from that Light. This is so consistent with the Transfiguration. As I have mentioned before, my tradition and thus my Belief is Christian, these accounts only strengthen and enhance my Faith. Through my Faith, Contemplation and study of Quantum physics I have very little anxiety. I just Trust. ….one thing you might consider for the future, is some exploration of the Shroud of Turin. @@Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch I am afraid of Hell. So get triggered to easily. Also Nihilism triggers me. There is a Christian group called Christian Universalism which teaches that everyone goes back to God eventually. They do not believe in eternal hell fire and damnation.
Jillian I don’t have all the answers but I have heard from countless NDErs. I think the Hell you fear is not an accurate description and is more of a misconception and misinterpretation by man. Although churches like to hold to their view of fire and brimstone and eternal suffering, many bible scholars will tell you is inaccurate. Additionally many Near Death Experiencers describe hell as more of a place that really messed up humans go where they can recalibrate and learn to be better souls. It is not an eternal place of punishment. The mere fact that you are searching to know God better so you don’t go there is proof that you won’t go there. What God would punish someone for seeking to know him better? Even if we don’t get it all right, God still knows our intention is to know God better. You are deeply loved by God.

Marie suffering joyfully is a tough one! It is a great goal but really hard to actually do. I love the name of your cat. Is Sundance a stinker like mine? LOL.
To be honest, it's hard to find peace in these NDEs after you have objectively studied them a long time. I have listened to and read thousands of NDEs that you eventually notice common reoccurring themes, such as reincarnation, infinite lives, infinite lessons, infinite payment for bad choices. The stories show we live multiple lives until we learn the lessons we were meant to on this earth - that life's just a "testing" realm. Ok, so I guess in the next life I'll just go be a slave building the pyramids, or tortured to death in medieval ages, or buried alive, etc etc. into infinity... Oh and btw, the largest NDE study ever conducted by the NIH (National Institute of Health) stated that up to 30% of all NDEs experienced going to hell. Wow. Not to mention the majority of NDEs report having to "pay" or "experience" all pain you ever inflicted on others to the tenth degree as part of the "learning process." Yeah... so much to look forward to. These reported heavenly experiences, feeling of love, feelings of understanding; once you put the pieces of the stories together they all appear transitory before you go onto the next life and it's lessons and consequences and endless suffering. We hear these NDEs of beauty and love, but that stage is temporary before you move into the next phase, apparently. Please tell me this is not the reality we have facing us. Smh. You know, when I first started listening to NDEs they gave me so much peace about death and the after life, but when you really start putting it all together, it does not look pleasant at all in the long run.
I am sorry you feel this way. I wish you didn’t. From our human perspective some things may seem overwhelming but we will understand things so much better after this life. I have also listened to thousands and talked to many Near Death Experiencers and I see something far more beautiful, positive and loving. I do not think this is an endless cycle of pain. All of my guests have talked about the incredible love they experienced. I think there is incredible beauty that awaits us that is so far beyond human understanding. I wish you the best.
I totally relate. I've read every NDE I can find online. They were the first thing I looked up when I finally got to be online in 1998. I read them daily, and have been listening to them in videos now for about 15 years as well. I'm bedridden so I have endless amounts of time to think about what they mean. I no longer know what to think about life and death anymore either. I mean at first I was all happy with what I was learning too and it seemed like it was ultimately all good. Well, now I think, maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I don't think we can really know while we're humans on Earth.
@@Beyond_with_Heather_Tesch I appreciate your words, but I honestly wouldn't say my analysis of thousands of NDEs is me "just feeling that way." Anyone who really looks at these NDEs objectively in terms of the full picture will see that it doesn't look particularly optimistic in the long run (in the short term it has the potential to be beautiful yes, but not strategically speaking). I wish it was just about feelings and a personal outlook... as you say, but these are the reported testimonies and published studies. These are the facts and the literature we have to go on.
I believe that when we go to the afterlife we spend an immense amount of time there being in the love. It is my belief that these lives we live are just blips compared to the amount of time we spend in the afterlife. So yes there is a lot of suffering we endure in this world but it is minuscule compared to the amount of time we spend in the afterlife in God's love and peace.

So one of your messages is that we have to believe in God or we won't make the right decisions. For instance, I'm in pain and sickness every day. Now imagine having to go through that for the rest of your life. Well, it's been 20 years of this already and people with my illnesses live into their 80s and 90s quite often, so I probably have decades left to go like this every single day. I also can't handle any pain meds, not even aspirin. So why do I stay? Because I looked into suicide NDEs and found out God told them they'll just have to come back and live through it all again and make a different decision next time. So my FEAR of God keeps me here. And then we're told that this is God's plan and it's all for LOVE. A LOVE beyond LOVE that you just cannot imagine. Oh, and don't forget, NDErs say they found out FEAR is the opposite of LOVE.
