Great idea and thanks for the tutorial! But I will be sewing EVERYTHING instead of gluing.
Also I plan to use this as an insert for larger bags instead of a standalone bag.
It was all perfect until the hot glue gun part but love the idea
I can't believe you glued the important parts after all the beautiful sewing.
Love your technique and that you do not feel the, too frequent need, to drone on with step-by-step commentary. Your work shines by itself. Very efficient cutting and construction. Agree with the no glue gun haters. They could have been nicer, but the glue cheapens all of your incredible design. I think getting rid of a few earlier seams will allow final construction on home sewing machine for most of us medium level sewers. I am going to try. Thanks for lovely demo.
as a sewer i wud sew the entire thing however the whole psttern is brilliant AND!! the fabric mesh drywall tape ? is the best hac.k iv seen in a long time, very smart. you are awesome cant wait to see more of your hacks
Really lost me at the gluing. I'm all for making my own bags (I do it a lot), but damn. Hot glue ruined it all.
Miriam Felton Well I get the idea behind the hot glue specially on the corners because her small machine won’t be able to go through that thickness without breaking a needle or ruining the machine, the handles I probably would’ve done maybe a button there instead and therefore you could sew through all of the thicknesses by hand I think that would give it more strength but all in all it’s a cute bag nice idea good job girl
@@susansmith5876 I use a machine very similar to hers and have sewn jean, gabardine, a wool-like fabric and several other thick fabrics; simple, double and even triple layers. Most of the modern home sewing machines we use today come prepared to sew anything, even quilts. She just needs to use the right needle.
Right? I wouldn't trust it to do anything more than sit on a shelf and look pretty...
I think you missed the point. This is an inspiration video. She shows you how to make the entire bag.. and what you need to make it. Glue it or sew it.. that's your choice.
@@susansmith5876 You can buy needles that will handle bulk.
All that sewing and then BAM let's hot glue all the final parts together. Also wouldn't it make more sense to pin the netting to one of the correct sides at 4:32 before sewing at 4:50 to prevent the raw edges created by sewing it on after?
spot on! this video doesn't make any sense.
thanks for the awesome tutorial! Loved it!
Obrigada. Simplesmente maravilhoso.!!
Que linda!!! Amei!!!😍
Nice tote idea. Love your little sewing area, it is so bright and seems peaceful.
Muito legal. Amei. Parabéns
I really needed something like this, thank you for the idea! It's easily customizable and adjust to my own ideas, thanks again! Cheers! 😊
Nice bag. I'm not into all the gluing but still great video. This will make a great insert to organize my huge tote bags that have no pockets inside. Thanks.
Obrigada!!❤ Ficou linda!!!
I like how they show the original version at the beginning in all its colour variants, rather than the homemade product. Its less work and doubtlessly cheaper to buy these from AliExpress. They are made better too.
U MAKE A LOT OF CUTE BAGS THAT I LUV
I really like your step by step tutorials !
Bello.
Love that bag. Good job.
Fantastic, Great, the most important is to have good ideas, like you, Thanks
Brilliant idea .Thank you x
It’s a cute organizer. This is a great idea to start this project. Thank you for sharing
Great idea thank you.
I love your videos, they are perfectly well explained visually. Excellent 👍🏼 😊
I've also done some handstitching on another bag where machine didn't work. Handwork takes time but is better than glue.
waaaawww !!!! excellent !!!
😲😲bello bello impecable tus trabajos gracias por compartir y enseñar 😘😘😘😘😗😗😗🤗😇🤗
thank you for the video. bless.
I love you so much and your ideas
Absolutely beautiful! So practical! Very well illustrated!absolutely can't fault you!
Very inspiring tutorials!!!
Nice idea and I was totally with you ... Until the glue gun!
How long is that glue gonna hold all the stuff I'm gonna want to carry around in a craft organiser bag?
Thank you for taking the time to make this video for us i like your idea a great deal!
Beautiful!
Such a wonderful bag
Muito legal.Obrigada.
Love this. Thanks. But it's better if you sew the handles. :)
Thank you for your very helpful video. I'm also stitching most parts but using hot glue where my machine can't sew. I'll be using this organizer to put inside my bigger bag or table top only so glue will do fine till it lasts☺
Excellent friend 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Thanks from İstanbul Türkiye. Good idea.
😂 Went from sewing everything, to gluing everything. Takes just as much time to pin and glue, as it does to pin and sew. LoL
Nice idea though.
It was like "Awe f it! I'm freaking gluing the rest of this! I'm tired." 🤣
hello, congratulations for the creations in the meantime, I have a question, when you do the shoulder straps or however the handles of the bags is not always better to sew them? I always fill my bags a lot and I fear that the hot glue cannot support the weight
I loved this project. Thanks for sharing

Hermosa Gracias!!!
Saludos 🌺
I love all your projects. You are so talented God Bless you always.
Wooow! Really amazing
I'm proud of you 😊🌸
I can't read Spanish very well, but if I had to guess. . . I think it says no glue at the end LOLOLOLOL
Bellísimo Dios bendiga sus manos
Beautiful Very helpful. Thanks for sharing 👍 Very much appreciated
This is what I am talking about ....i always wanted to know how to make this bag
Congratulations. I looooove it
🙏🙏🙏👍👏👏👏
😱 i wanted this so long ago
I like everything about this video except the BGM! 😆
Fantastic!!!!!
but I will sew instead of glueing my bag too, it´s better for safe. ty for shere, great job i love it.
Best
best DIY thanks 😍
Maravillosa
Great idea/project but hot glue ! It would be much stronger if all see together.
I agree with you
I agree with you
Great work thanks
Great idea but I'll probably flip the pocket items to the inside. I hate having things show what I got in my purse from the outside. I also don't mind the gluing for some areas I'd probably go back over some of it with a bit of stitching but this is a quick and simple method to finish off the work.
Very cute,thank you ❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤗
It is very lovely. But actually i taught the bag was going to be big but all it same it is nice
Super cute; very good work 😻😻
Love the idea
Ilike 🌺💋❤Thank you so much.
Thank you miss ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😍🤝🙋♀️
very nice bag.u r very talented.
Cute!!
I want to buy the bag! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Like before watching ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Biuriful
Other than the hot glue, it is a very nice end result. I will make something similar but without the glue to give more strength. Glue isn't that strong and seeing it at the handle area when lifting the bag took away from the lovely effect everywhere else.
Just wow
First comment and first like nice DIY Craft Tv
I love this comment .
Lovely video
Guau no lo puedo creer 👍👍👏👏👏👏❤
simplemente me encanta un besazo y like
Wow nice job.

Muy funcional espero me salga igual o parecido
Genial 💕😉👍
Very nice idea👌👌
Porfectttt
Does the glue really hold, have you put it to the test with the weigh shown? I put a lot of stuff in my totes. I wouldn't want to go to all the trouble of cutting and sewing if it isn't going to hold up. Please let me know.
No. Its better to sew it
Again with the glue gun? Again on a seam that requires strength to stay together? I think you need to forget that you own a glue gun. This otherwise cute purse insert is only going to survive a short while before the glued seams give out.
Have you tried making this using a glue gun before criticizing or are you just playing armchair critic?
@@zoeemiko8149 I make every attempt to never "play armchair critic". As a matter of fact, I taught myself to sew when I was 9 years old. I have over 55 years of sewing experience (and crafting, so yes I've used a sewing machine and glue gun on hundreds, if not thousands, of projects). I can easily say, there's likely almost nothing I haven't sewn with huge success. I have also spent more than 10 years teaching sewing and computer embroidery for a major sewing machine manufacturer and am considered very much an expert on this subject. So yes...I speak from plenty of experience and have made all these same mistakes. I know for a fact that a strap glued to a handbag will NOT stay on for very long, if at all, and that glued seams on stress points simply won't hold...something that is going to frustrate beginners if they attempt this project only for it to fail. This same person, while coming up with some really cute ideas, needs to take the steps that all of us who have commented about the glue gun have taken and learn when/where gluing might actually work. Clearly, this person knows at least the basics of sewing, so, as others have also pointed out, sewing the entire project would have been the better way to go. I've spent all these years learning from others, experimenting (succeeding and failing) on my own, taking/teaching classes and have appreciated every bit of guidance I've ever received and am always willing to share my expertise. Trust me, I've made some pretty bone-headed moves myself in my early sewing years and still, to this day, occasionally experience a failure...that I always learn from.
I agree on the glue gun. Okay for trim but not for places that are going to receive stress. There are other ways to accomplish this bag.
Waaaaaw
Very good👍
I am the 1st viewer and so nice 😍😍😍😘😘😘
