Flume Guitar Lesson Bon Iver - Chords and Strumming

Continuing my 'Strumming Songs' series, this is how to play 'Flume' by Bon Iver. I chose this one (not least because I love the band) for its shuffle feel.

The chords here are pretty easy, with perhaps the exception of the F barre chord. The trick here is to be confident with the laid-back feel of the shuffle.

This is an old video so you might not see this but thank you so much for this and especially talking about the strumming patterns! I can only play a few chords and I really wanted to learn a song and chose flume. While it doesn’t sound perfect yet (as this is the first time trying with the strumming pattern) I have the feel of the intro and it’s made me so happy to see some progress. You should be happy knowing that you’re passing on artistic skills!

the original sound of the song is in the Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb tuning and at the A=445Hz frequency
took me a while why it was so different
I haven't tested it but i think it is the equivalent of the standard tuning but with a=432hz
