I think the HP figure you gave is wrong for the hybrid it nets 204 hp @ 6100 rpm · Torque. 247 lb-ft I believe the 180 hp number you mentioned is only the gas engine
My mom and I purchased a 2023 Honda CR-V HYBRID SPORT on 5/26/2023 at Hughes Honda in Warner Robins, GA. We traded in her 2012 Ford Fusion SE for it because the transmission was acting up and there was damage under the car from the previous owner. I'm glad we got rid of it because I got sick and tired of hearing the MyKey dinger. My mom's ex boyfriend's son set that dang thing on purpose.
I've had one for about two months. There's a lot I like about it. Disappointed with the MPG. Averaging 36.2 mpg. mostly city driving with a light foot.
FYI - the only way to program your garage door opener is thru Honda Link at a subscription charge of $179 for 5 years. In other words, you have to pay to open your garage door if you don’t want to use your remote. I didn’t realize the switch labeled “door” was a toggle switch for lights🤷♀️
I'm in the same boat as you, the deal breaker for me with the Ford Escape is that annoying Auto Start/ Stop feature at red lights or when the car stop moving for a moment. Yeah there's a button to turn it off, but you have to press it every time you start the car, it gets annoying and old fast. If Ford didn't have that stupid technology, it would be an obvious choice for me.
Normal driving regen is controlled on the paddle shifters. B on the shifter does use regen braking to accomplish the slow down of the vehicle but the purpose is what I explained in the video. They have different purposes that is why they have different controls.
A good review - thank you. HOWEVER, a road test and accompanying actual data is unfortunately lacking here. NOT having a spare tire is a HUGE negative, as a repair kit is NOT going to save you in instances where a spare tire IS NEEDED on the spot.

I was going to buy this car in hybrid. I recommend not buying this car. It does not have a spare tire or donut spare. You can buy a full size tire and rim but there is no place to store the tire except in the cargo area. This will eliminate you using most of the space. The Toyota Rav-4 has a full size tire under the cargo area. Why would Honda not provide space for a tire in the hybrid
You put car in reverse and didn't mention the horrible warning sound that you are backing up in hybrid. No one told us about it. Check it out before you buy.
Nice review! I bought a 2025 ex-l hybrid in radiant red metallic. Nice car but quite expensive and no spare tire. I like the car so far and am getting better than advertised mileage. Only time will tell if it was a good purchase I suppose. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Why is it when I watch your videos I have no unanswered questions?😉
Wow I know I’m getting old when I want this CRV 😂
Thanks for adding the sticker details!
Now my 1st new Honda CR-V Hybrid to buy.
At first I hated the little yellow hand, but it quickly grew on me! First time viewer and subscribed! Great in depth review
Hello friend, without a doubt, it is a great and beautiful truck, I really love it, thank you very much and happy weekend.
Bought one and love it. Beautiful piece of technology!
The Mickey Mouse hand... I can't even
I wish the CRV had ventilated seats.
This one vs the skoda kodiaq ? Which is more solid and reliable?

Hi How long that hybrid battery last ? thanks 🙏

I recommend to buy a new 24' Honda CR-V.
And did today

does the glove compartment have a light
I’m in the minority, but I miss the push button transmission. Kept the big shifter out of the way.
When I drive my gfs CRV I find myself ghost reaching for the stick shift since I’m so used it being there and I rest my hand there on all my pst cars😂
Nice but is this unobtanium?
Actually the pillars are mat
Why do they mark them up from the MSRP...my local dealer added 7K
That's why they're called *stealership* also these Honda hybrids are in high demand, most are willing to pay more to grab one.
Super cool, I’d be more into a Ford Escape hybrid 🍃

FORD is trash....just sayin 😅
@@kendallhughes7507 in Joe Bidens horrible economy, nobody can afford anything, so conversing about *new cars* is pointless 🤦🏻♂️

Better go for Mazda cx90
Not in the same class
@@blackwhirlwind1245 both are same range price around 40ish .
@@tonyynewyork no, CX90 is more expensive, it can reach 60K, whereas CRV is only around 40K max.
