What do you think of this new video format? Do you enjoy the longer mix of riding and vlogging, or would you rather see just the trails? Drop a comment below and let me know!
I like the format. Gives some more insight and context to the ride. Also, always appreciate putting the Trail Forks map up there (when appropriate). Looks like an awesome set of trails.
Thanks! Glad you liked the format. I’ll definitely keep including the Trail Forks map when it makes sense, it really helps with context. And yeah, these trails were a blast to ride! There is more from that trip to come!
Spent plenty of time riding Cuesta while I was in school in SLO, and never fell in love. The loose rock and straight lines can only entertain for so long. I always favored the riding in Montaña de Oro… less aggressive but still loads of fun and with better views. Great riding, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the tip about Montaña de Oro! I’ve never been, but I’ll definitely check it out when I get the chance. I totally hear you about those rocks-it was a great change of pace from my usual trails, but by the end, I was definitely wishing for a little more flow! The next day we hit up Toro Park after getting rained out, and I’m so glad we did. It was a complete contrast and a blast to ride. I’ll be dropping the video next week.
Ha, thats awesome. I'm in the middle of editing that video right now. It's such a great spot to have as a local! How does it ride in the summer? The conditions were incredible when we were there, couldn't have asked for better!
Yeah, the drive isn’t actually that bad, I can see why you shuttle it, though! I saw you hosted a ride at Georgetown but couldn’t make it. I’ll definitely have to check it out sometime!

@ That’s so funny…. Toro Park is my local trail center! Hope you enjoyed the trails looking forward to the video

Beautiful area and fun trails. It's really not far from us. We shuttle Cuesta Ridge. If you like this type of trail. Checkout Georgetown CA..

Looks like a really nice set of trails. How was it riding on the loose rocks? I’m always worried about sliding out. Were your arms tired?
Riding those rocks was easy with a bit of speed. The Bullit's suspension soaked it all up, keeping it smooth and fatigue-free!
We'll have to go back on a clear day so you can enjoy the views. Video doesn't do justice to how steep Bombers gets in the middle
Yeah that trail was really steep. Super fun though!
