- Update: Seeing as my video gets the most views out of all uploads of this song, I figured I should make a proper translation out of it. Mind that I am still not that good at Japanese so there may be some inaccuracies.
It's honestly odd to see flipnotes of this song now and then. Some of them taking the same ideas I had on mine, some even copying the effects I used on mine. It makes me so happy!
I'd like to thank my friend Light for further spreading popularity of this song. I'm glad you were inspired by my own flipnote and asked whether you could use the song. I hope you're still out there.

I feel like I’m violating sacred ground with all these old comments about this song all those years ago, but I do appreciate seeing all the good this song has given people over the years and hopefully many more to come.

I've never heard Hatsune Miku sound like this before. Her voice sounds much more mature and full (if that's the proper word to use.) I could compare it to that of Gumi or Meiko.
Really shows how talented Nekobolo is
Nekobolo his sound was always so different from other producers. Though I dont speak nor understand Japanese, his songs have always had that mature feeling to it while other producers always tuned Miku to be happy and bubbly sounding. He always made her sound as if he had something heavy on his heart and was dealing with difficult things (Almost all of his songs are not particularly happy sounding). He really is talented, and I hope he becomes successful under his new name "sasanomaly"

Its just Append Dark, a lot of artists also use it effectively too like keeno and mikitoP just to name a few

I thought by now I'd be way over this "phase", but here I am. Back to how it was at the start
I was brought back here from a flipnote friend using this song in a recent one of hers. I used Hatena since its beginning, and it is a core part of my childhood.
That being said, that last bit of text made me tear up a little. Thank YOU for contributing such a dear song into that little community of growing artists nine years ago.
Coming back here on a nostalgia trip, Nekobolo as a producer and this song has really been with me so through much through the years
Its been so long since ive listened to this the brutal anxiety of childhood me is flooding back to me a sad scared alone little trans boy this song now that im older I understand it even more i was 12 when i found this song i didn’t think id live for long and that nothing mattered this song really embodied my emotions at the time such a beautiful song

It was on one of the choruses. You'll be able to see cuz it will not have the two characters when it says ko ko, it has one different character instead.
