Family Sessions #73 / "Goin' Home" (Dvorak/Fisher) ft. Knut Reiersrud, Marit Halvorsen & Tuva Færden

We’re back with a Family Session for you today! Playing a song with the absolute legend of a guitar player Knut Reiersrud. He’s a true pioneer and one of Tor's biggest heroes growing up (and still is), so needless to say this was a big deal for us. We’re doing a composition by Dvorak with words by William Arms Fisher together with Knut's wife Marit and her daughter Tuva, surrounded by Marit’s beautiful drawings in her studio.
Also, if you speak Norwegian check out Knut's sublime radio show “Bluesasylet”. There is even an episode where he talks in depth about this song which is very fascinating.
PS: Can'’t help but feel that this was the perfect day to release the video of this song, since we buried Mari's grandpa today.
