Where is Puerto Morelos? Its only 25-30 minutes from Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. With it being so close to popular travel destinations in the Riviera Maya, it feels like a hidden gem yet it offers all the best things you would want to experience like beautiful Caribbean warm waters, great beaches, snorkeling, authentic food and more.

Puerto Morelos hands down. 28 days until I return but this time with my 7 year old daughter. I am hard at work using my Rocket Spanish program

My first trip to PMM is November 19th and I am thrilled I have a driver rom the airport and to take me around on Saturday and then Sunday is a freeday to do some cool things..... So excited..

Looks to be a nice place to retire. I found a very nice new 2 bed condo in that area for 54 grand. 40 dollars hoa fees, cant beat it. point 2 mls has that listing and others starting at 25 grand. good vid looks dreamy.

I want to move my family there and will be entering Mex. from Texas with a truck pulling a camper trailer. I just want to know if its safe, (its such a long drive) We are willing to do it tho! Awesome video! I'll be in PDC May 2022 for an entire month. If it wasn't for my adult children who crave nightlife I would have chosen to stay in Puerto Morelos! I plan to go down while I'm there for a few days looking for a place to retire soon and this looks perfect!

Hi Sue. I was just there again last week and they are also doing market on Sundays some nights. For great shopping for handmade items, I also recommend a store called Took Tunich and you can use Google to give you walking directions to find it.
Hello- any problems with excess sargassum in Puerto Morelos?
Hello. On my previous visit no problem at all and beaches like shown in the video. Im honestly not sure what its like at this very moment as I am not in Puerto Morelos right now. It is typically the season for sargassum now that stretches well into the summer, but every year can vary on how much there may be. That is for all of the Riviera Maya. During my previois visit, I had 0 issues with sargassam but Ive never been there in summer. When are you thinking of visiting?
@@LittleBirdieTravel we are looking to go to PM in March. We had a previous tripped planned for PM a few years ago but had to cancel due to the over-abundance of Sargassum. I guess it’s hit & miss.
