I must say that while it works, it does a good job grinding coffee for my french press. However, with daily use, I HATE it. I have nevere used a messier coffee grinder. Whether I am emptying the bin or just grinding coffee, it goes all over the place! I always grind the day before I plan to empty my bin because I learned a long time ago that this will cut down on the static electricity. I tried to return it to Amazon but was told the window had closed (by one week) and was told I would have to call the company. I did and they said it was one week out of return so they talked me through how to unclog the grinder, which I did. I then ordered the pills to keep it 'from getting clogged' but here I am, one month later, and clogged again. I have used the pills approx. every 10 days and I'm at my wits end. I honestly thought of just chucking it and purchasing another, but then realized I"ve only had it since July and I can't afford to throw away $200, so here I am , again having a clog, and hating my machine.
Hi Susan, thanks for stopping by our channel! It sounds like you're having to deal with an unusual amount of clogging with your Baratza grinder. May we ask what grind setting you typically use? You may have to coarsen your grind and see if that helps. If not, feel free to email us at hello@eightouncecoffee.ca so we can help troubleshoot!

Are the cleaning tablets necessary…..can I just deep clean it with a brush only every week or 2?
We definitely recommend using the cleaning tablets to aid in absorbing any coffee oils that have clung to your burrs!
