Btw. That scene of Seonghwa where he came out of that egg is a reference to "Park Hyeokgeose". A king who was apparently born out of an egg in 69 BC and he is the founder of all 'Park' clan in Korea. 😊
So Ateez and KQ used Park Seonghwa to represent him. 😅
And subtly made a Korean Culture reference once again. 👍🏻
Just a quick TLDR the MV is a bunch of references to get rich quick schemes and stuff (Mingi Wonka - candy factories were high profit low cost back in the day so they were super popular for people trying to get rich; ostrich farms were another bc the feather plume hats were popular fashion things; the gold rush ofc; Seonghwa robbing the bank and carjacking Mingi GTA style; San stealing gas/oil; Yeosang printing and literally laundering money - in the washing machine, lmao). There's also ofc the goose that laid the golden egg (it's a chicken in Korean legend), and the reference to the legend of the founding of the Park clan - it is said in Korean legend that the king/founder of the Park clan was born out of a golden egg - so who better to pop out of there than Seonghwa? :D
Edit: Also, Mingi been Mingi Wonka-ing since Arriba stages - I hope you see those at some point if you haven't :D Jongho is so talented he makes clarinet sounds come out of a flute. Also, they be serving..cheeseburgers (cuz cheese is slang for money - get it? :P)
Mingi is all pimped out! The ostrich farm things also has ties to the birth of cars. Women didn’t want to wear those giant plumed hats when riding in cars, so all the ostrich farms were pointless. Putting gas in an ostrich makes more sense when you look at it that way.
