I sincerely hope these solar powered street lights will not be the future of UK street lighting. What were the council even thinking when they purchased that and installed it? I bet the amount of light that thing throws will be so low, that it’s practically useless!
Wow, that looks disgusting. Definitely an eye sour. Probably even ain't even that good either and probably would die half way through the night just like solar powered garden lights. They should have spent their money on something much better like a nice looking fixture from Schredcher or not put it up in the first place. What where they thinking?
I'd be constantly complaining to the council for it to be removed. What a complete eyesore, and if they wouldn't remove it, I will my self and say you had plenty chances to remove it. I don't pay council tax for Eyesores like that!
Indeed. The council should’ve installed a normal streetlight here instead. A P107 would look miles better than this hunk of crap and it would throw out more light too!
