This is sound teaching. A wise person will learn something. In the dark world there are rankings, that's why Jesus said this TYPE can only be cast out by prayer accompanied by fasting. If you are a true committed believer the Spirit will give you an indication whether to pray for a stranger or not. A pastor is not a superman, we all derive our authority from the Spirit and therefore we should listen to Him the Spirit. Don't run ahead of the Spirit because you will accomplish nothing. God decides WHO is to be healed or delivered and WHEN. Trim yourself to size and be humble.

This just goes to show that you truly need to build all of your foundational knowledge and learn all of your basics in this faith and keep learning until God decides you are ready to use your gifts. It is for your safety, so you dont make a mess of things because of not yet having the knowledge you needed, and so that you begin to use these spiritual gifts for the glory of God in his own right timing. He knows when you are ready. If you started your walk of faith recently and spirituallly you are in 2nd grade and you still dont have all the knowledge and information you really need, then you cant expect to enter 9th grade and do what they do on that level because you are not yet prepared. I have been born again and Spirit filled for over 40 years. I had belonged to a great church with a great Pastor in NJ. I was an usher in this church. One Sunday a woman brings here demon possessed daughter up front to be prayed for by this Pastor, who was my Pastor. The Pastor stood a bit off from the girl and was being careful and had other ministers up with him for this situation but somehow the girl grabbed him and would not let go and my Pastor had a heart attack. He died within a year at age 70. Before that he was very strong and very anointed with the Holy Spirit, very. I was about 10 feet from this happening as I was ushering up at the front to catch and help with the laying in of hands ministry when this was happening. I say this to affirm what the man of God said on this video is true.

We ate commanded to pray even for you enemies. It doesn't mean that you need to touch the enemy, or lay hands. What the Pastor is saying is really important. I normally ask the own person to place both hands on their heads as an act of surrender to the Lord, repeat the prayer.

Go back and read Timothy again. It has nothing to do with the risk of getting a demon. (Like a demon would jbe able to ump on you like a lice?). It is about ordination. A pastor or leader must be tested first before they are officially ordinated to have that position. Like if you want to become a police, then they will propably to background check on you and see that you're not actually a criminal.

Most people I know who say Satan is defeated never actually heal anyone, or even lay hands on people.
