Wow, you really love your reptiles! :p I think reptiles are so awesome--I really want a bearded dragon (they are literally the sweetest animals in the world), also a guinea pig because they're SO fluffy and awesome. But my mom doesn't share my love of animals, so currently all I have is a cat :p Not to say that I don't love my Cat--I do. shes my baby!! (had her since I found her--her mother abandoned her at 4 weeks). but still, one pet is not enough!

I find you are very clever, you don't let yourself impress by others even when they being agressive or scornful (not easy on the internet as everyone feels like saying anything that comes to mind), you are very rational and have a lot of commun sense (which sounds commun because of its very name but is actually a hard to find quality). You are doing your own stuff even if most people would have done it differently, and out of real interest and not just to prove something to yourself and others (although I guess we are all and always unconsciously still seeking for it). They won't kill them though. :) However, some animal shelters do but that is only if they don't get adopted out and they no longer have room. I suggest going to the local shelter no matter what. All animals derve second chances. Also, get the older pets because they are the least adopted sadly. They are usually the best too. Less training and more friendly towards children typically.

Name one pet store with it's own "kill room" and prove it otherwise don't just smugly assume that I'm some kind of an idiot. On another note, suppliers have been known for cruel practices but to my knowledge those that have been investigated have either been shut down or fined unbelievable amounts of money and they have lost the support of their buyers.
I love your animals. You have a calm voice...:) you obviously love your pets...having a pet is a calming thing..wish I could have one..where I live they dont allow pets of any kind. I love that you rescue these animals. People need to realize that when you're experienced with reptiles, they're EXTREMELY easy to take care of. Like snakes for example- you could keep a snake in a decently sized plastic box with heat and food and they're good, and the enclosures are easy to clean. That's why a lot of reptile enthusiasts have 20+ snakes at a time- they literally have shelves and shelves of enclosures that are stacked on top of each other and take up about as much room as a dresser or armoire. Because it's EASY. For 10 snakes you could probably do ALL OF their daily "chores" (cleaning the cage, food, water, check temperatures) in about 20 minutes. Doesn't take that long. Same with most smaller reptiles like beardies and leopard geckos. So if you've never had experience with reptiles or any of these pets that she has- shut your mouth, you don't know what you're talking about. I worked at a pet store and it only took me about 30-40 minutes to clean the enclosures, re-bed, feed, and water about 5 rabbits, 4 ferrets, 20 rats, 20 mice, and 10 different species of reptiles. Once you get into the routine, it's pretty simple. The only thing I worry about is that tegu- that's going to take up a LOT of your time and money, and you'll probably have to build a custom enclosure about 4ft wide, 6ft long, and 4 ft tall just to be able to house him. Finding space for that is hard enough! Let alone how much they eat! But hey, if you're dedicated to rescuing animals, you'll find a way to make it work and make sure these animals have decent time outside of their enclosure.
I love your compassion toward animals. To be honest, I envy you a bit, but in very good way. It is great to have someone you love even, or should I write "ESPECIALLY" if this one is your dear pet.

I'm not trying to be rude - but HOW unless you have no job and no life do you pay attention to that many animals? I love all animals; I am not a suitable pet-keeper. I guess it's just a matter of opinion - but mine stands.
koutsoulia Its not sick. I personally wouldnt get a snake cause i do love rats and couldnt feed it to them but the snake needs to eat. And you can enjoy a pet rat just as much even though you have to feed your snake dead ones.
It's not sick. It's the food chain. She's feeds them what's best for them. And you eat meat don't you. It ls sick for me to watch you eat them ASWELL. Because I'm vegetarian.
