This really made me smile, beginning to end... the end results were truly spectacular. I myself am doing a HP makeover of my bedroom and I have gone another route. Less classy, more 'this could literally be a room in that world', so no movie memorabilia per se, but aged looking potion bottles on shelves, tapestries on the walls, and aged wooden furniture... This would be my absolute next best option tho.

I really really love the finished room, it definitely looks like an adult version of a Harry Potter/Hogwarts bedroom. I am sad that a lot of the collectibles that were in the glass rated cabinet for instance, were not included in the bedroom. I agree, it would have made it look rather busy, but I still miss them.
When you first showed us that trunk in a previous video, I immediately thought of Professor Lupin's, so the use here was just perfect, as was the rest of the room. How can I give it more than 1 like? 🧙♂️🧹🔮⚡📜🕯🦉🗝 🏰
Neville and Tonks. Neville is so underrated, and seems in my opinion to be one of the strongest characters. Tonks is just a legend. She is so funny, especially when read by Stephen Fry! Lovely video - adore your energy!!

I've never understood why people hang empty frames on a wall... Would it not have been better to have pictures inside some of those frames at least, to imitate the artwork in the castle where the various painted characters visit different paintings?

Seriously unreal! I am absolutely in love! My favorite character is Luna btw and I am obsessed with this room! One comment though, you need to get cord covers for those wall sconces! Paint them the wall color, and make them disappear like Magic. Such a little thing, its not a big deal. I love that you make it feel so harry Potter without hitting it on the nose. So many little details, you are incredible!

Oh my gosh I LOVE it!!! The trunks were the perfect touch!! I'd have to say my fave piece are the flying keys!! Ingenious!! Oh and the birdcage lamps..Awesome!! You've outdone yourself Again!!💕 It's soo hard to choose a fave character! (10 minutes of deep thinking later...) I'd have to go with Harry. He's so unsure of himself all the time but perserveres and shows just how powerful he can be when he puts his heart and mind into it.💕

Diane, this is my absolute favorite makeover you have ever done. I think we all carry a little bit of childlike fantasy in our souls..... and you were able to find the perfect middle ground for this room. It is impossible for me to choose a favorite piece. But what I did LOVE were all the accent touches, like the flying keys, lamps and the frame wall. These were all combined with more "mature" furniture and bedding. Just WOW!

Goodness if I had to choose just one thing that I loved about this make over it would have to be how you finally found a home and use for that vintage clothes trunk. That and all the little whimsy details. The keys, the gold hardware, the lightning bolt pillow, those tiny elements. Definitely my favourite bits...
The room looks SO COOL!!!! I really hope those flying key pulls don’t cut someone. Cut aluminum can be so sharp and it didn’t look like you rolled the edges or anything to make them safer
