In retrospect the Cliff that Time Forgot is bizarre. The game has all these cool locations with differing themes, and then the game dumps you into this otherworldly zone. All that is here is are rocky cliffs floating over a black void, and then there's that twisty thing that is never explained. Only a game like Earthbound could pull something like this and get away with you not worrying about where the hell you are in the universe.

The weirdest thing is that you can acces it from a cave in the Lost Underworld, so you can see the Mr. Saturn and the broken Phase Disorter before entering Magicant.
