D is on the juice brother, that physique is not possible as a natural. If you need to cut weight fast imo best is water fast or keto and if you want to put on muscle that takes years.
Thank you for making the clean eating concept simple to understand. I can’t do all the complex food and dieting stuff, and this helps to break down the core concepts and what is ideal to eat.
I wonder if you're not low-key depressed/stuck and working out is the only thing that's giving you a sense of meaning in your life. How long have you, consciously or subconsciously, associated working out, and the results that come from it, with happiness/fulfilment? How much of your life is centred around working out, diet to help gains, thinking about things related to the gym etc. You seem like a pretty dynamic guy who needs constant challenges - Ultimately the best way to make ourselves feel better is to go deep within and develop inner peace, particularly in times when we feel lethargic, unmotivated and not quite right. Letting go, surrendering, untying knots you didn't know existed and developing inner calm and detachment. These simple qualities help us to feel better when something intangible is weighing us down.
I think what you've described is not just an aftermath of your intense exercises, but probably in a significant way caused by the often use of pre-workouts + the extra caffeine from coffees and energy drinks. I've used to feel exactly the same way. Hype, focus, adrenaline, amazingly good mood and even day dreaming after my daily dose. Then crash -> lack of strength, bad mood, apathy, depression. It was like drug addiction. I was getting hyped only by the thought of going to gym, just because I was going to drink my pre-workout. That was before Covid though. After the gyms re-opened I started my training again, but this time without any pre-workouts, just one coffee during the day and now my days are so much more balanced.
I lost over 70lbs in last year. If you want to lose fat you need to train hard and eat clean. This is my story, the things started to change after I got diet from website Next level diet. It was plain simple and pretty easy to follow... Training was something like home workout (three times per week). I lost 12lbs of fat in my first month already... This may be the best stuff on net right now... You also have some other diet helpers, but believe me personal trainers are too much expensive.
This is the most David Laid, day of eating ever. “Here are vague parameters of what I loosely do on a day to day basis, roughly 45-80% of the time, and even that really changes every other week.” A La, the mystique lives on.
I feel like so many of us are in the same spot. Especially the ones that grew up on body building TH-cam. I spent so much time with the rich piana 8 hour arm workout mindset and can’t even imagine how bad it hurt my gains/health
Been on one of John meadows’ programs and he really values rest days, his training is so intense. Some weeks I train 4x a week and I’m really enjoying the rest.
The problem with training that intensely for prolonged periods of time is that it affects overall cell respiration, you are disproportionately using your ATP to train and recover. This can cause a paradoxical effect like you mentioned in the beginning; you train everyday , possibly longer and harder in an effort to combat the constant fatigue. Whilst It's important to train hard and be consistent, it definitely is more important to listen to your body.
I feel the same way shitty vibes all day besides the gym but a guy like David laid can relax and just go through the motions me, I gotta take the pre and put in 3 hours everyday because he put in the time

Hi David. With this video you've made another step forward: I was very surprised to hear, here on your channel, Una Mattina and Primavera by Il Maestro Ludovico Einaudi. Your vlogs and Ludovico's music match perfectly: you both have this strong sense of cinematography, and, as I always say, his music is dedicated to people whose soul dares depth, like yours. Yo Dave, I also had to change my definition of 100 percent to ,doing things 100 percent the right way, instead 100 percent being going with all the possible intensity I could muster.
I have been feeling the same way recently. I think I’m training way to hard because when I reach back home, I start to feel shitty and especially some days when I wake up it just get worse. But for me I need to train hard to feel satisfied with my training.
I relate very much to being an extremist with the all in or all out mentality. Not just in training but with life in general. Sounds almost like bipolar disorder the way you describe it. It does get old feeling that way.

Are you only lowering your intensity due to being satisfied with where you are physically? I think it would be prudent to suggest you would train relatively harder again if there was a goal you had? I've always been under the mindset that intensity brings quicker progression, and while it is harder to stay consistent with that intensity, seeing the change and progression is the motivator behind that.
