Xiaomi 11T Pro Review | Best Value Flagship Phone of 2021?

- Reviewing the Xiaomi 11T Pro, one of the best value flagship-style smartphones of 2021 costing from £599 in the UK. With its 120W fast charging, 108MP camera, Snapdragon 888 and Vapor Chamber cooling for gaming, the Xiaomi 11T Pro boasts impressive specs and features at this price. I've been testing for a week now as my full-time personal phone and here's the verdict.
First up, the camera isn't infallible but it is very good. The only time I captured test photos that were less than great was shooting moving subjects indoors. Besides that you can expect the 11T Pro to spaff out pics packed with strong detail and accurate colours.
Gaming on PubG, Genshin Impact and other Android titles is a breeze with the SD888 smarts. Thankfully this smartphone stayed quite cool even during extended sessions. Likewise it didn't heat up despite the 120W charge support, with a compatible charger bundled in the box.
I also liked that Dolby Vision display, stereo speaker setup and the fact that Xiaomi is offering three years of Android OS updates now. As usual you have MiUI 12 stuck on top, adding a lot of bonus bits to the Xiaomi 11T Pro.
So that's my thoughts, what do you reckon? Worth a punt?

I thought I would be able to give you're videos a bit of a rest for a while now that I'm satisfied with my new little beast. But no you went and got a couple of mini beasts as well and now I have to make sure they are in every video and watch them grow.

Just bought a 11 T pro a few weeks ago. Totally loving the phone so far. One thing I noticed, you said no head phone jack, mine has one!

Hmm, primarily because of camera specs now I am not sure if this will be an upgrade for me from my current 10T Pro!! Lower ultrawide and no OIS for main ... is that correct?!
Great review it got me excited and instantly bought it. I just got the phone today and i can tell this phone is no joke it has great quality it didnt dissapoint me at all. The best part abt this phone is that it never dies and. This is my favorite phone by now.

I got the Mi11 a few months back. Been impressed so far. This sounds like another decent effort and a bit cheaper than my handset. Could have saved a few quid if I'd waited!
Do you have any problems with overheating on Mi 11?
@@rodic666 not particularly. Not a gamer, which I assume is the main concern with overheating. Charger unit gets a little toasty whilst charging!
How is the battery life now
@@omarsalim9562 battery still decent possibly not lasting quite as long, maybe because of the latest MIUI13 update. But with the 55w charging and quick charging time, I'm not overly concerned!
Nice review, thanks. What do you think about going from Apple to Xiaomi? Would one miss anything essential? I am not a fan of top notch iPhones, but the reasonably priced SE versions and so on. I do not ever play games on my phone. And ... is there a smaller version available?

I bought the Redmi Note 8 after researching for weeks. It was supposed to be a budget phone for my business. Well, it over performed and now as of NOV 2023 it still going strong. It is currently my daughter's phone which she loves. I have the 11t pro now as my daily. For the value and performance you can't go wrong with Xiaomi. Btw I also bought a Xiaomi Pad 6 a week ago. Xiaomi is truly stepping their game.

Missed you sleepyhead! Hehe, notifications! I wouldn't pick Xiaomi 11T series. They are super expensive for the specs. I'd rather get a mi 11 or a P30 pro from 2 years ago. A whack Macro and ultrawide camera? Pixel keeps it simple and classy. Great review as always.

Excellent phone but kind of put things into perspective more how good of value the Redmi note 10 pro is ,looks similar,120hz amoled Still, no 5g but gain a headphone jack, expandable storage,still 5000mah battery, Miui 12.5 and a Snapdragon 732g rather than a toasty 888 ,but cost less than half the price so put in question,is this 11t pro worth twice as much as that note 10 pro ,not so sure
To answer that question it's not. The 11T Pro is a cut down version of the Mi 11 with a significantly worse camera set up a lower resolution screen but bizarrely a higher price. I would indeed just go with the Note 10 Pro.
Reconcile and go for what u can afford
Ive had a 732g before and cant play genshin smoothly at all even at medium or low settings.
Also my x3 nfc also gets toasty and rather HOT to touch

You can go for 11 lite NE. Although with 778 processor. It's good enough if one is not into heavy gaming. Very lite and easy to lug around

Thanks to him he's sold me on three different products already and he's reviews been pretty spot on when it's come to all of them. I have to say I'm glad I followed him in on the products the poco did take time to get used to and the swipe down to clear notifications was a bit of a pain to start off with but now I'm considerably happy with it

Just bought it, honestly my best phone after i upgraded from redmi 5a prime from 5 y ago. It literally kills a proclaimed classy brand like iPhone and Samsung, has better large screen and insane hyper charge(beast charging 🗿). Don't hesitate if u want to try it

@@jackbenton2892 based on my pubg gaming, it is not quite often. But in the first hour it just drop like 10 percentage of your battery. Which is quite cool

I saw your last video about that device. I have a question for you. On video toolbox I saw a 2k upscale is that mean you can play a 2k quality video?
Hey, you can play up to 2160p video on the likes of TH-cam but it's a FHD+ screen, so that's the maximum resolution the display can produce. That upscaling feature is supposed to make anything less than 720p look sharper, but tbh it doesn't seem to really make much impact

how do you deal with the power button also being the finger print sensor? I have issues trying to blank the screen when theres an app open waiting for a finger print etc. its pretty irritating. I'd much prefer a finger print sensor that WASNT controlling the screen off/power off at the same time.

Here in the UK you can get the Mi 11 for the same price as this (£599). Far better screen, better camera sensors with OIS, and a free smartwatch thrown in. I'd go for that instead

They used cheaper HM2 sensor compared to HMX on Mi10T Pro and Mi 11, also wide angle and selfie camera are lower resolution. The Biggest difference is Lack of OiS on main camera which is just outrageous for the price they are charging. Just get a Mi11 or even a last year Mi10T pro and you will be happy that you did.

Also no EIS on 8k and no 4k on ultra wide cam comparing to 10t pro. For someone who's into photography and videography, this a big downgrade. Also, I'm not sure but I think that 11t pro has a plastic back and frame which is a downgrade too

Is it worth to spend extra buck for this one over Poco F3 with same rom and ram specs?
I disappointingly bought the 6/128gb variant of the Poco-F3, thinking the 8/256gb would've been better. But my god, wallahi it's a beast! It's my first ever flagship smartphone and I love it !! But the battery is kinda mediocre but it charges up from zero to a 100 in less than 40 min, which is great. The camera tech is pretty good as well and it's similar, maybe even better than the galaxy S10. Can you make video on why people should consider the 11T-pro over the Poco-F3 aside from the SD888. That would be amazing. Cheers ❤
Can you elaborate more on your poco f3 battery use? I want to buy it but need to hear about the battery first
@@muhammadredzuan6323 If you always keep the 120hz on and use it with 70% to max brightness, play games a lot, have mobile data and WiFi always on. Then it will last you roughly 5-6 hours everyday from a full charge. So unless if you're not a heavy user like me, you can easily get 1.5-2 days of battery life.

Just got this phone from eBay for £360, an absolute steel! It's an amazing phone and battery life is out of this world! The interface is great coming from a Samsung S10 5g and the screen quality is stunning! If you're undecided about getting this phone just get it....you won't be disappointed!

@@abikyoukan2 brilliant mate! The best thing is there's no need to charge the phone over night and a 10 minute charge in the morning gets me to 100%. Honestly it's a great phone and I can't fault it!

If I set a wallpaper on the phone it tends to be very big bigger than on other phones ? Is that about the screen resolution?
Looks a great phone with top spec but it's a shame there's no SD card slot so you can't increase the memory.
I can't decide between 2 phones with one to buy ,Xiaomi 11tpro or S21FE. From your reviews seems like both are good , gaming i don't care much , what i care is that the battery to resist and camera photos , and both camera are doing preety good, i am not a fan doing night photos so this is not a priority for me , and i can't decide with one to buy . Now both phones are on a good price . The S21FE the price is 544 euro and the Xiaomi 11tpro 499 euro , both are closer on price...

I thinks it's gonna be similar, last year they just downgraded the 108mp sensor to a 64mp sensor. but still absolutely worth it 4 the price

The camera sensor of 11T and 11T Pro is the same. The same HM2 108MP Nonacell.
Just has different limitation (4K30 max on the 11T ; 4K 60 and upscaled 6K to 8K 30fps on the 11T Pro)
also different processing-- a little different colours, video stability, etc as it uses different chipset.
Obviously the Pro looks kinda better, but really shame that the camera is a downgrade compared to 10T Pro.
