Hey guys! I recommend watching the pilot episode of "John From Cincinnati." It was co-created by David Milch (Deadwood) and first aired directly after The Sopranos series finale. The show was canceled after one season and despite being highly unresolved I still revisit it every few years. There's great performances, dialouge, and mystery that I think would make for a fun review. Great job by the way and thanks for all your work!
I think HBO is definitely responsible for shows becoming what they are now. Without HBO we wouldn’t have shows like mad men, breaking bad, and Netflix probably wouldn’t exist. The Sopranos was the first HBO show I always heard about but I got hooked on deadwood and Rome. And you definitely can’t watch the Sopranos without getting some prosciutto or capicola. Gabagool? Forget about it. 🤌

Boardwalk Empire is a straight up banger and the definition of under rated. The pilot really grabs you right away and the characters are so loveable
It’s on our list!
My only critique of watching just the pilot of Boardwalk Empire is that you don't meet the best character (Harrow) until a couple episodes in IIRC.
