    there's actually a screw on the other side of the priming bar allowing you to remove the ratchet assembly without cutting!

    You saved my ass! I took this thing apart, put it back together again and discovered I had two left over screws, Ikea style, I couldn't for the life of find a home for. I completely missed two hidden in the stock. Every other mod vid I found skipped right over the screws/opening, thanks!

    So unless i'm mistaken, those two pegs at the front are a kind of quick release barrel/spring access, and the little screw on the inside you unscrew to slide out the prime assembly, can be accessed from the outside shell, meaning you can probably quickly throw in a spring upgrade if that's all you were after, though the front piece would still need dremeling to allow a longer barrel to pass through. I saw foamdemic has a replacement front assembly, which is probably what i'll get to make barrel and spring swapping easier. Nice vid!

    I got mine to hit 290-300fps pretty consistently with all the available metal upgrades. My barrel is 450mm. My spring is an 18kg+something from my bin that fits perfectly around the barrel. The darts that can hit 300ish fps pretty consistently are the standard red DZ darts. The prime is too strong for me to do it one handed, so it isn't war practical, but it's just for plinking so that's ok.

      Chambered

    • @FurballMK3
      @FurballMK3 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I know this is a month late, but it does not require a chambered barrel. The dart pusher does not enter the barrel, so the barrel doesn't require any additional room internally to accommodate it. A chambered barrel isn't going to be a problem if it's all you can find, but an unchambered is optimal.

    How does this blaster function exactly?

    • @FelixstoweFoamForge
      @FelixstoweFoamForge ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's not actually that complicated. The plunger tube faces backwards, and there are ports that let the air flow into the barrel, behind the dart, which is pushed into the barrel by a pusher which has similar ports nto. The spring is compressed by the backwards motion of the priming grip, whihc pulls the plunger and compressed spring forwards when you return it forwards. then you pull the trigger, the plunger is released, the air is compressed and the dart comes out. Like I said; SIMPLE (yeah, right).
