      Taking the "leap into the unknown" by starting a business, and specifically a business that involves (or requires, as in the case of the SEC for stocks) an intermediary to make arbitrage on every bought and sold asset in a market.

    I found my way to financial freedom after so many years but I wish I learnt most of these principles long ago. Society has been trapped in the matrix- - Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life changing information that could have great effect on their finances.

      The ignorance people have is astounding. Nobody has information, you need to constantly acquire knowledge in order to create your own process, manage risk and stick to the plan, through thick or thin while also learning and improving.

      This is true:: for instance, people are constantly chasing financial stability on a day job but fail to understand that the banks and most of theses corporations are return-driven businesses designed to keep you stagnant. I don’t keep sums in the bank. Instead, I invest with professional guidance, enjoy the benefits and actively push forward to financial freedom.

      After the ‘08 crisis, I’ve learnt not to trust corporations. Since 2022, I’ve been investing with a finance advisor and have had no major losses. I’m barely 25% short of my $2M goal after subsequent investments to date.

    First of all, thanks for all the amazing content. I’ve been listening to Alux for years now. So now I wanna share a quick story: two to three years ago I was 30, in a developing country, doing pretty well: had my own new car totally paid, no loans, no debt, a good amount of money invested in the stock market, passive income from real estate, a small business with low fixed costs, working out everyday, no distractions, studying, etc - and all of that just 4 years after a major financial crisis in my country. Then covid happened - government shut down everyone’s business, costs were still there. Decided to move to a different country, spent tons of cash, put my business in the hands of two managers who didn’t do well to say the least, had to use my crypto and stock investments to cover living costs, and now I’m working 12 hours a day on my own business and other peoples businesses to try and come back to my previews life. All of that due to poor planning and believing that crisis and government will never try to destroy you. I’ll be back soon - life is great and God’s grace is big. But don’t fall on this trap: never let go of your investments, always build passive income, understand that the government is not there to help and work hard. Don’t buy stuff you don’t need and don’t do stuff just with passion, but with proper planning. God bless you all.

    You can be rich working for someone else. My father did it by getting a good job with the natural gas company staying their 35yrs. He was tight with his money and invested it in the stock markets. He did live in apartments until he was 40 but by then he had enough to buy his first home cash in full. Couple years later he bought his first brand new car. Even though he had money he never blew it. Nobody knew just how well off he was until he passed a couple years ago with over two million dollars plus his paid for fully custom built home and his car and truck both paid for. He never ever bought anything on credit . Now obviously having your own business may be ideal but don't think it's the only way.

    1. Decide you will never be poor
    2. Write down your assets and liabilities, and try to get your assets to outweigh your liabilities.
    3. Close down the money pits: example: negative debt; you need to BOTH reduce expenses and increase income
    4. Focus exclusively on increasing income through volume, specialization: the more you learn, the more you earn, horizontal: upsale.
    5. Incorporate: set up LLC, own something that increases in value over time;
    6. Pay yourself first, it should go to investments. Have wealth creation on autopilot.
    7. Build an asset that helps you make money while you sleep. The easiest way to do it is through real estate. Publish a book. E-commerce store.
    8. Use your work income to improve your cash flow generating asset. Do not spread yourself too thin. Don’t over diversify too quick.
    9. Build opportunity fund/savings. Opportunities don’t care who you are, they just are. Park it in Robinhood, Revolut, etc.
    10. Make investing in yourself a priority.

    CHANGE! This was actually very motivating. A few months back I started up a small business. I worked my butt off to get the funds at a job I hate but it pays better than most places for a blue collar worker. Sadly it failed and I have to work my way way back up again and it kills me to know I have to keep at it here BUT the experience was invaluable and I know I can’t give up 😣😤 I’m doing things smarter this time around investing instead of saving and learning more as I go. Moral of the story sometimes you gotta roll with the punches bite the bullet watever but HANG in there! You will get there with determination and hard work!

God granted my request. Now, i can bless those whom are most in need

    When you read articles about financial freedom, you may hear people drone on and on about how they are spending practically nothing so they can retire at a younger age, like 30. Conversely, they may have already achieved financial freedom and are bragging about how frugal they were so they could retire well before the typical retirement age.

    • @Smith.ash2
      @Smith.ash2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Planning for retirement, or even financial freedom, is a marathon and not a sprint, as the saying goes. Breaking up your financial independence goals into small chunks can help keep you on track while making the process a bit more manageable and, hopefully, a little less stressful. Even if you are starting small, the important thing is to get started.
      Investment creates a safe haven for the future, Everyone needs it so you don't go bankrupt when you stop working

I've accomplished a lot since then, including renovating my apartment, starting my online business and building savings. These accomplishments are my first entries. My next entries will be in 6 months from now after I have implented the next round of changes intended to serve as the foundational elements of my long-term wealth-building strategy💎👸🏾.

Sometimes it is, but every time, I learned at least one valuable lesson (realistically, more like a dozen) that helped me know leverage my way into a world of difference, as far as success, wisdom, gratitude, staying hungry, being a lifelong learner, and loving what I do. Now I'm just learning how to make that much more profitable so I can live more comfortably in such a high cost-of-living area and worry less about the forecast for my financial future (it's tough worrying about family with health issues, taking care of them, and knowing things will get tough well before I can access my retirement funds)

      I almost slept at the streets last year when my rent was due 😭 but thanks to a friend who introduced me to Mrs Sophie Clare Williams ,a financial adviser.

      Mrs Sophie Clare Williams is holding a very high prestige and reputation in personal financial management. I’m happy you mentioned her. My wife recommended her to me after investing 3 grand and she really helped us in times of this bad pandemic crisis. I’m close to my retirement and this has been and well remain a good survival for me

    I think a lot of people already decided to not be poor but the problem lies in not knowing how or where to start. Not everyone can start a business.

      I started a clean up dog shit business at 11 yrs old. I banked over 3 grand that year n lived in a dirt poor neighborhood. That was 1973. The economy stunk but I was creative. Made fertilizer out of it in a compost pile. 18 months later I also sold fishing worms. You can afford to start a business

    Wanna be multimillionaire or billionaire?
    1. Open a business and hire people to scale sales whatever you sell.
    2. When you earn cash, buy assets to don't lose it for inflation and to don't be taxed
    3. Earn a lot of money even if you won't save it because it'll give you a good credit score
    4. Leverage your money with bank's loan with lower interest by your assets
    5. Use that leverage money to buy more assets that can give you monthly cashflow
    6. Earn money tax free because you don't have money and never sell your assets.
    7. Don't work for money, use banks money then they'll pay income taxes of their money
    8. Cash is trash. Cashflow is king.
