My personal hela deck runs Black knight and it’s been great. You have a more active early game and acts as plan b to get big bodies on the board. I’ve won games on the back of The ebony blade that can’t be Shang-chi out and not many decks run shadow king.
The real deal: the old "Destroy opponent deck" with Yondu, Cable, Zemo... just add Chi and Cosmo to deal with potential mistakes and the deck is gone. Actually, just Jean Grey with Cosmo also ruins the deck, as it doesn't have enough cards to fill that lane and Hela wouldn't have any chance to be activated
The Jean stuff can work well, but the wasp Hela lists are tech’d against it. Mill is hit or miss, bc unless you get lucky with your hits it basically guarantees them hela
Yeah I think that's the big thing, Hela being strong and consistent promotes counters that people also don't like lol. I wish there was some other way to interact with the card
@@ZombiesGoNomNom yeah I guess leech kind of hits six costs but it's also so terrible. Plus you don't know if they have hella in their hand. Maybe they could like rework leech again to do something. You could also play Moon Knight possibly discard hella but that could make their play even better
@@williammclean6594 One thing I'd like to see is a card that prevents other cards entering play if they were not played. Not sure what the stats would look like on it but ive liked that effect in other card games.
@ZombiesGoNomNom I couldn't agree more. When Hela's good, the decks that can beat her get pushed to the forefront. Problem is that people hate both Hela and the decks that counter her (Junk and Lockdown mostly), which makes the entire game less fun to play.
I had this to say to Alex. Plz read this Alex. Ok Alex. You don't like this deck because it's not that "interactive". Well, I'll tell you what it is. It's quite budget. It's a mobile game. There are a lot of semi-casual players who don't spend money on it. Of course they will flock to something like this when they can. If you want more variety in the meta Alex, maybe you all should urge SD to make the card accusation better. It's stupid that everytime they have to nerf something to the ground to bring little variety to the meta. Also, the "skill" thing is a stupid argument in a card game. The current "skillful" deck that most people think is bounce or move. Trust me Alex, I don't need to think too much when playing those decks. Only the ones which are usually Meta counter decks or trying something unique actually seems to be "skillful" decks. Does anyone complain about Lockjaw decks? You put small cards in and big cards come out randomly, same rng as Hela. But the decks are usually more costly than Hela, specifically this version of Hela. So respectfully Alex, instead of complaining about an archetype and killing it, you guys, being influencial figures, address the main problem, which is SD being money hungry, forcing people to spend money by giving worse and worse gold bundles and nerfing archetypes to change the meta, instead of letting it be diverse naturally. And it won't change naturally if they don't make the card accusation better and make it so that all archetypes can perform well at the same time. For example they could bring the old prof X back but to balance that, release another card with similar functionality as Jeff. Like it could have the same effect as Jeff, but more cost and power and a downside, then make it a series 4 or maybe 5. People will get this card despite the downside because of the power output, which will make that card function better than Jeff in certain situations. A dead card game like pvz heroes still has a living community and still sees some diversity in the meta from time to time. Because most people still playing that game has pretty much all the cards and they often make experimental decks, which also perform well and can compete with traditional meta decks of the game. Marvel Snap should do something to make the game like that while it's still alive. If they care about the game and *all* the players, that is. P.S- Despite Hela getting buffed she's still less consistent than something like bounce or move. She should be like that. But stop crying about a specific archetype. If you want a diverse meta, all archetypes should have a place in the meta. As to how SD can achieve that, I have already suggested those steps.
The jean grey cosmo ongoing stuff can work too, but I'd def wait until there are less people playing wasp before trying it.
Love the change to hell cow for classic discard, hate how it gave hela new life
Just what I needed to hear, discard has never been more annoying!
Hey man thank you for the video. The budget deck was really helpful, I had to make some changes for JF Thor & Ravonna but it ended up working. Thanks!
That last list is a cool cook with Swordmaster. I could see an argument for Spider Woman too if the Prof X tech just isn't working in a move meta.
Def taking these for a spin
Thanks for the lists!
With your last deck, I don't think Ajax Hazmat is a good idea for a Hela counter, considering most Hela decks run Luke Cage.
Oh Goody!
Ty for the video
Just what I needed
Thank god for this video 🙏

The thing about the counters to hella they're just as toxic as hella because it's all clog

So you want SD to adopt the business model of a dead game. Very insightful.
Why’d yiu make this video bro 😭 let me get free wins. Unsubscribing (JK)
Worst meta in a long while, only seeing destroy and discard......
