When I went to Rome there was quite a lot of street sellers and poorly made/fake designer bags as well. By the way I enjoy watching all of your vlogs and videos. Always fun.
The best handbag shops are close to the bridge and between the bridge and the Uffizi Gallery. Italy is the best place to buy leather, - Italian leather. I do not understand, why Famous design shops are needed. Dior, L.Vuitton...etc? Enjoy Italian designs. Happy shopping.

I was surprised when I first visited Florence that it is full of cheaply made leather products. Most of the stores were of poor quality, but there are a few that stand out. Codice was my favorite and I got the most beautiful leather jacket.
The food looked so delicious! I got hungry just watching. That's too bad about Dior - I really liked that Lady Dior with the pearls on it. I could see you getting that. And loved that hotel! thanks for taking us with you.

I’m literally off to Florence on Monday for a week, I hope it all goes well, I get quite nervous around travel for no reason. Not worried about the plane crashing but rather me missing it or something stupid, things I can control 😂 I wasn’t planning on any big shopping. A friend told me that Florence is great for leather but less so for designs, seems to be a lot of copies of well known luxury styles.
I went to Florence in September and now it’s my new favourite city, it was amazing and the people are so friendly and the city feels very safe! I hope you have a really lovely time!

That hotel was very interesting. I would not stay in the hell rooms. That's not my journey. It seems Florence is very attuned to English speaking people. Which is good. Those inexpensive bags were so cute. I loved all the colors and styles.

I listened to a speaker yesterday who correlated luxury spending with the US government program ERC or employee retention credit. It pumped hundreds of billions into large companies and gave so many upper earners stimulus they then spent on luxury. The program was ended in july by the government due to fraudulent claims. Since then LVMH stock has gone down every month. It seemed an interesting correlation
