One of the best hemodynamics videos I’ve seen! Studying for my CC finals and wish I would’ve seen it for the first exam over hemodynamics, HF, etc. Awesome!!
I’m still not clear on NTG to lower preload. If NTG dilates the vessels going into the right atrium, doesn’t that mean more blood passes through, hence increase ventricular filling? Wouldn’t that increase preload even more?
Can you help me understand--ACE inhibitor used reduce afterload would also reduce preload, correct? Wouldn't reducing preload be unhelpful for the patient who needs reduced afterload? I know there is something here I'm not understanding yet. :)
