Did you name them Lynard and Skynyrd because now they're FREE BIRDS? That's awesome. 😂
No… But that is a great way to look at it! I’m going to use that line from now on❤️
@@BradtheBuilder we need an update on all the animals on the property!
@@bigsheilaandthebeefyboys5394 I was just telling my camera guys. We need to do an update on that so you’re reading my mind.😜👍
@@BradtheBuilder need a greenhouse update too!
@@bigsheilaandthebeefyboys5394 ok
The nicest chicken coop I have ever seen in my life. Nicer than some tiny homes I have seen.😊
When you come for a visit I’ll put a cot in there for you😜😬
That's definitely the Taj Mahal of chicken coups ! 🎺🎺🎺👍👍👍
I just hope it doesn’t turn into my doghouse🙆♂️
@@BradtheBuilder don't worry if it does because you would always have something to eat. 😉🎺
The chicken coop is like a castle.. absolutely beautiful !
Thanks 👍❤️
This is, by far, my favorite coup I've ever seen!
Really? Thanks
Fantastic coop. Yes some more things for the chickens to climb on would be beneficial.
Ok! I’ll build some more things for them to hang out on👍
I'm interested to see how the height of the roosts affects them. There always seems to be a boss chicken. It would be ideal at some point to build them an outdoor run where they have access to grass and bugs. The best tasting eggs come from the chickens eating all that. If you can throw in handfuls of grass and clover or whatever is growing close by. They will love it!
We just started letting them out and they have access to all kinds of tall grasses, and they just love it
That is one heck of a chicken coop, Brad! There will be no doubt that Mary enjoys spending time in. In fact, if you are ever unable to locate her in the house/yard, this would be the first place I'd send someone to look!
Lookin' gooooood, Brad!
Heather🇨🇦
Mary loves her chickens! They are so fun to watch
Flair going to be creeping in your coop for eggs pretty soon 🤣. Great work. 👍
I’ll have to put a lock on the door😜
That is a testament to the skills of the construction workers to be able to build that out of second-hand wood and other leftover parts. 👍👍🎺🎺
🐣🐤🐓
That so nice of you to say that!
Great time lapse segment of the Chicken Coop build. 👍🎺👍🎺
Hats off to my cameraman and editor Brandon🎺🎺
@@BradtheBuilder Atta-boy Brandon !
Great looking chicken coop Brad 👍👍. I love that you used solar energy 👍👍!
I have seen some people wrap the roosting bars with rope so the chickens have a better grip,,
Great job to all
Great idea
Awesome Brad your chickens are spoiled . You should show Flare so he can get an idea for his chickens ..
Looks phenomenal @Brad !! Stay blessed brother!!
Thanks! You too!
Definitely should make the perch multilevel
Really? Thanks for letting us know.
Absolutely amazing chicken 🐔 coup very nicely done
Thank you so much 👍
I like to keep roosting bars as high as possible and set them up like stairs so they can go high or low make it feel as much like a tree as possible so they feel safe
Did you do okay?
No!
You did amazing!!!
Would love to see a video with you explaining how you got into contracting. Schooling, experience etc.
What are some of the ups and downs etc.
I know you’ve done a day in a life, as well as when you brought a gentleman around with you who was getting into it.
Also possibly some of Euginos past experience.
Thanks for the kind works ❤️
I will be putting together a video series’s of how I got started… stay tuned
@@BradtheBuilder will really look forward to seeing that. Thanks Brad
@@b5maddog thanks for always watching 👍🎺
You should put gutters on to collect water for the chickens
I do have a couple of downspouts that I could find a way to collect rainwater🤔
I think u should make flair one for his chickens
I need you guys to tell Flair that he thinks I’m always trying to spend his money🤔
LOL that chickens coupe is more over built than Whistle'n Diesels monsters truck 😅 . . . I love it.
The only thing I can think of is special chickens sand for them to wash off incase they get Muddy during mud season.
We put a little blue kids pool with dirt and sand in there for them to take their dust baths
Nice coop. Great work by your team.
Glad you enjoyed it
Should do a automatic water feeder with the gutters like Matt from demo ranch did with his old chicken coop
I need to check that video out… Good idea!
It's a beautiful coop, better built than a Carolina coop, the keeping roost bars at the same height helps with the pecking order. The only thing I would have done differently is the solar, you only have one RV battery, that tells me your system is 12v, the system will work great during the day, but at night it won't work right. You can remedy this using 12v lights, you can get E26 bulbs 💡 that fit your exterior wall sconces, you can get a O2cool fan to run with 12v, both these things will run all night with one 12v battery, you can even get 12v string lights. Keep your inverter for on demand 120v, everything else runs directly off of the battery. My coop runs 12v lights, 12v fan, 12v neotech timers for automatic on off lighting and it will soon run a 12v pump for the most advanced chicken watering system, my coop isn't as big as yours, but it practically has no wood, it's steel reinforced block and concrete, it's hurricane proof, look into these efficiency upgrades, my coop will run everything mentioned with one 250w solar panel and one deep cycle RV battery.
Wow! Thank you for sharing all that info it really helps👍
@BradtheBuilder try the 12v E26 bulbs 💡 first, your 120v light switches will work with 12v, so no extra investment, a 10 inch O2 cool fan is actually 9v, but will work perfectly with 12v, just install a 12v car plug or hook up directly to the battery, electrical is practically the same, green ground not needed.
@@MosaicHomestead thanks for the heads up & tips
You should collect that rain water off the chicken coup for the chickens to drink love the coup though top notch
That would sure be dragging the garden hose around every couple of days
Hey Brad, once I buy my home, I need you to send lugeno to build me my ultimate fish room. Chickens living their best life🔥💪
Deal!
Great job, you can collect the rain water off the roof and pipe it through out with watering nipples. @OffTheRanch Matt did and it works great. Matt is the who gave Flai the safe door.
I wish I could do a collaboration with Matt and go down and help him with his new resort 30 bought!!
Now you need to start a mealworm farm so they always have extra snacks when they aren't free ranging.
That would save money too!
Has more room then my house. Those are some lucky chickens😂
I wonder if they know how lucky they really are??
💕 that you have it all in one video Brad 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Everything looks amazing! Have you seen or considered concrete curbing around landscaping so you don't have to weed wack can just mow
I was thinking about getting a goat to keep the grass and weeds maintained😜
@BradtheBuilder that always works. I just got done putting in the curbing at my parents place and they absolutely love it
@@andrewstanislowski7515 too bad you don’t live close to me I could use the help
@@BradtheBuilder I'm always up for a work vacation
Hey Brad just wanted to see how the "finding the hidden potential in a kitchen remodel part 1" video has progressed. Did you continue working with these clients or not? Love the videos man long time viewer
Thanks so much for being viewer!
Those people decided to wait to do the Remodel until after the first of the year they found a business opportunity they wanted to invest in first . (bummer!)
How is the egg production? Are those nesting boxes working?
Just last week they started laying eggs and they haven’t figured out how to use the nesting boxes… They’re laying them in the corners of the chicken coop!😬
Most detailed coop I’ve ever seen! Awesome job!
Did you think to maybe use a bigger battery in the coop?
So far that battery is keeping up, we have the option to add more if we need to
That chicken coop is awesome come to Pennsylvania and build me one
I would love too
Looks great!
Thanks!
very nice! if you ever get bored of chickens you could always convert it into a nice little Nigerian Dwarf goat shed/run ;)
That’s a great idea
My chickens had multi level roosting bars, they all roosted on the highest level. Can i move in to your chicken coop??? 😂
That’s good to know on the roosting bars… You can get in line I have several guys thinking this could be their dog house with the wife wants them gone
You need to build one for flair
Tell Flair for me!
I'm so glad for your awesome video's Brad as things are just getting worse for me. My oldest son's dad was found dead in his flat a couple of days ago, I met him him when I was 17 I'm now 51. We have been on and off since then, I had our son when I was 18. My son who I live with is absolutely devastated and heartbroken as am I 😭 😢 I'm happier as I got to see a few clips of Nate 💋 💋
I’m so sorry for your loss🙏
You are one resilient lady, keep pressing on, and you only need to take it one day at a time ❤️
@@BradtheBuilder thank you Brad, I'm trying but it's very hard x 😭
@@carolinemitchell3620 I will keep you in my prayers🙏❤️
Thank you Brad we appreciate it 😢
Well done!!! Awesome job!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!
Thanks, you too!
What material did you use for siding?
James Hardie
The pecking order. I see what you did there 😂
😜👍
Wow. Awesome stuff. Little overkill. But i like it
I tent to do that with things! You sound like my wife😜
Here's an idea... Measure and calculate material top to bottom blue prints and all package and sell as a kit. Everyone will want one Eh?
Maybe a smaller version ?
@@BradtheBuilder plans vary by site and space availability. Sounds good...
Great stuff brad keep it love the videos u put out man
Thanks so much for always watching and reaching out👍🎺
Coop looks great. Hopefully your predators don't make it through that screen. I've seen a lot of people upgrade to 1/2" cloth or beefier; I'm assuming you guys used 1/4". The only other thing I would address, put some plastic conduit around your wiring.
Random fact. I've met Skynyrd a few times over the years(I'm 36). Even have a signed Les Paul from the guys and their wives from a meet and greet 20 years ago.
I liked your Skynyrd meeting! That would have been so cool!!!
Looks great! If the lack of sunlight does become an issue ever you could always throw in some sky lights out in the run part. But its very well done. :)
Chickens love the shade. They get hot and start panting in the sun. During the summer mine stay underneath their coop.
@@fauxque5057 they get good sunlight for about 4 to 5 hours a day even though they’re in the trees it’s able to get through the south side
WOW Brad!! awesome coop....great work!!!
❤️👍
Thanks
Looks great
Thanks
I don't know why your channel seems stuck on same amount of viewers, you have great content. Must be the length of videos or something not catching the algorithm.
How about taking about a few dozen of your best moments in the past and releasing them as shorts with very crazy catchy titles.
Your only cost in that experiment would be the editing.
That’s a great idea… I was wondering the same thing why we’re not getting more hits???
I’ll have Brandon work on that (THANKS 👍)
@BradtheBuilder let's go Brandon !!!
@@hillbillywisdom777 haha👍
That is an awesome chicken coop. As for the roosts being all the same height? That is fine unless you find that one of them won't let the others up on the roosts, if that happens it may be best to catch, cook, and clean that one so that all the others can roost. lol.
I like the way you level the playing field… So far they all seem to be getting along just fine👍
If I were a chicken I would be happy to call this home
Haha! 👍
Pretty AWESOME
👍❤️
why not use the chicken coop roof for water collection for the chicken? extra free water :)
Great idea! 👍
@@BradtheBuilder actually very simple too doesn’t have to be a huge underwater tank etc just a simple pipe into a barrel and a hole/pipe for overflow to direkt the excess water whichever direction u want it to go :)
@@ItsHalvar I will add this project to my list
That wall is a tight fit, lol.🧱 Smart egg retrieval🥚 I actually really like the retaining wall, it looks great.🏵 What about during the winter. Will the solar panels run heating lights?🌡The coop looks great and predator safe!🐓
If the Solar isn’t able to keep up, I have my Bluetti generator that I can bring down to help power the heaters
BRADLEY!!!
That’s how I spell my name for years and when I had to register for the draft I found out my mom has been spelling it wrong for 18 years…
“BRADLY”.

Thanks 😎
Looks awesome brother.. I need to borrow ugeneo so he can help me finish our house.. Its hard by myself
You should
Nice Coop but the one thing I see a problem with is sun light? I don’t see how they are getting enough sun light, the more sun light the better the egg laying for the chickens! But it’s a beautiful coop
The south sun makes it in☀️
Hey Brad, Nicely Done on the Tour👍.
The Bqoys dqid a fabulous job for the Chickens 🎉.
I believe the Roosts should have another triagle oqn top of what you already have.
That gives them hight.
I'll bet your wife is thrilled🎉

Absolutely great job!! What’s the paint code\color, Brad? The outside color?
Let me look into that for you I believe it was a Sherwin-Williams number 7573???
@@BradtheBuilder I’d appreciate that!!!
@@BradtheBuilder great color for the house!!

Turned out great! Curious about the “less than $3000”, wasn’t solar alone around that much?
It was the amount of money we spent on lumber without the solar
My husband is going to hate you when i show him this dream coop. It makes ours look pitiful! Lots of nice upgrades!
Sorry! 😬
No complaints from our chickens so far😜👍

I guess you can say those chickens 🐔 are living high on the hog 🐖
That’s a good one! 😜
This posted so late I had to get special permission to stay up to watch. 😏😉😂🎺🎺
Sorry, I don’t know what happened🙆♂️
@@BradtheBuilder just blame Utube 😂
@@dalegereaux1863 👍🎺
U should treat train the chickens it makes them WAY easier to catch I used to couldn’t catch my girls but I treat trained them and now they won’t stop fallowing me 😅
My wife has started doing that with their meal worms… And they do tend to follow her around when she’s down there
@@BradtheBuilder also you might want to reinforce that screen doo so if any really hingty predators see the run and coop they don’t rip the screen I recently had one of my girls killed by a raccoon since the. We have trapped roughly 10 coons
I would love to give my wife a chicken coop like this and you wouldn't have to come far to build it...well maybe it would more so be for me 🤔
How far do I have to travel from Nebraska to get there?
@@BradtheBuilder we're not in the financial position at the moment so I'm currently dreaming but I'm only 5 miles north of Lincoln

I don't believe that $3,000 price

No, the chicken coop runs off those four solar panels. I have 34 that my house runs off of.😎
Doubles as a house for bad kids

You know you are making Flair look bad right?
I didn’t know that was possible🤔
less than 3k is a joke. labor itself is over 3k
That was the material cost excluding the solar panels
