As far as college being easier than high school, I'd agree with that and my last college exam was way back in 1994. In high school you had to have a 95 or higher to get an A and below 75 was an F. In college, a 90 was an A and an F was below 60. Beyond that the coursework, as compared to high school, wasn't challenging in the least bit (except Calculus and Trig). Some courses I rarely attended except on exam days and still busted out an A or B. For the non-Science, non-Math courses you simply get the course syllabus and reading list on the first day of class and make sure you do all the reading/writing assignments.....ON TIME....and show up for the exams. Lot of time to drink and "socialize" in between.
Hey dude I love your positive outlook on a lot of these, and I think you did an awesome job articulating them. My freshman year (‘19-‘20) the circle had some of the best seating-I think they rotate every year or something. And the academic rigor definitely steps up as you take degree-specific, upper-level classes. I’m studying Computer Science and most or all my classes are practical and directly applicable to my career.
Not recommended for people with any type of disability. Constant discrimination and unwelcoming atmosphere. What Christian environment? I was a student there and only witnessed people being fake. Never again. How many scandals has the school been involved in? Liberty sucks ass!! Maybe it’s awesome for someone non disabled.
I transferred from Liberty to the University of Lynchburg (which is where I graduated from) and can say undoubtedly that the academics at Liberty were a cakewalk compared to the U of L. Classes at Liberty felt like standard diploma track classes in high school. At the U of L, I was legitimately working hard and studying each night.

Yes, Gen Ed is like this at almost every other school. The classes that are specific to your degree will more than likely require much more studying than your basic math and English classes. Because again, there's so many people who have the same first-second year prerequisites for their degree that it's impossible to have the same intimate learning environment for all 700 students. It's gets better the further you go into college, as most things do. Good luck to you at college!

I've heard that while undergrad degrees tend to be good, you should avoid doing graduate school there. They put a lot more effort into their undergrad degrees and their Grad department isn't as good in comparison.

worst list about Liberty: PARKING, too many cliques... its not what people think with everyone being all welcoming., dress code.... we as Christians know how to dress... to have it forced on us is foolish. not enough dorms..... and having Freshman get first pick.... why didn't they build some dorms on top of the new dining hall?????? I could go on and on but I wont.....
Yeah every college has the parking thing. I was talking with some folks at UGA and it's worse than at Liberty. The other stuff is just about perspective. There's literally thousands of colleges and they're all different

As far as choosing one, I have a video on that because it's just so different for every person. As far as living with roommates, the biggest thing I'd say would be setting expectations and communication. Be just a little bit selfish and let it be known what you want and don't want. Hope that helps!

The university does a fantastic job of keeping all of the students busy on campus so that they are not out getting in trouble gallivanting around what little things there are to do in Lynchburg.

In vines center where convo is there's several spots around the top row of seats. Accessibility around campus is solid with ramps everywhere that stairs are. Hope that helps

My son is an engineering student at Liberty and the classes are no cakewalk. I think it depends on the major you are studying.

I don't know anyone in that particular program, but all the majors similar to that are excellent, so I'd assume it's good. Can't say for sure though

It's about four hours from Regent, and the swimming pools have a dress code but that's about it
