I have driven past Picacho Peak over 20 times. I have relatives spread all over southern AZ. I will take the drive again in Marchand plant to climb the peak. My nephew climbed it last year and told me for sure bring good gloves. Nice video, thanks.

Bringing gloves will certainly help your ascent and descent. It's a very special trek in my heart and one of the best I've done in Arizona.
I live close to there. I am glad you did this hike for me, LOL. No way would I try it. It is way too rugged. Some guys I know were attacked by a swarm of bees up there. They survived fine, but they said it was scary for a while.

The first mile is pretty easy as long as you can hike a couple thousand feet of elevation. Once you get to the cables, it becomes more of an adventure. That's wild about your friends and the bees. Thankfully didn't run into that! Haha! 😁
