This girl could have an impact similar to Freddy Mercury. There's just an absolutely massive gap in the market for her to completely dominate. She's the whole package. Amazing. She really is unique.

A few hours after many performances were posted, views for each were 2k-3k. She has 9k. Fan base size and views are good indicators, if not for the Winner, then for longevity in the competition.

I just came across this and I was blown away by her rendition of this classic song. I really do wish Cody does the full version in the future. I would buy it in a second and proudly put it in my Pink Floyd collection.

She is my new Queen. I listened to that album for an entire (dark) year from age 15-16, and was RAISED on this. I never thought I could love a cover. I LOVE her and this version. Just broke my brain.

What Cody did in the opening was splendid. Those breathy low notes were perfectly in pitch. When she started belting she lost the pitch a little. Once again, I will put that down to monitoring. It's a tricky thing to monitor for both soft and loud notes. Cody goes through not only because she is a fine singer, but because she has something just a little bit unusual to offer. Looking forward to hearing more.

If this show had more younger voting viewers, Cody would win. Boy George doesn't know how to manipulate the audience to vote for his contestants like Will does... And even Will couldn't sell Leah who should have been the winner in season 2 based on her unique style, range, tune, etc. and Leah was nowhere as unique as Cody is the way she represents herself physically. The voters like someone they can associate with but that's not someone who is going to make it outside the show. They need someone who can stand out and if there is one contestant who can sell record and shows out of the ones participating this year, it is Cody.

It's been such a success (ratings wise has been over 5 million every episode) that the BBC got in a bidding war with ITV, and ITV wanted to pay more money than the BBC for The Voice UK and so from next year it will be on ITV.

Wow........just wow!!! I just saw this performance a couple days ago and I've now watched this (and her other performances) about 20 times. Absolutely stunning voice I could listen to all day!!! Kinda bummed they didn't record her songs so I can download them which is how The Voice US works.

This was in “the voice 2016” and now we are in 2020 and Boy George didn’t help Cody Frost to release an album. Boy george has all the connections with the music industry since the 80’s.
Boy George didn’t do anything for Cody after she left the voice. He kept saying how awesome she is and he did nothing for her.
Too bad Cody chose boy george to be her mentor. Probably William or the woman judge would helped Cody if she was in their group.

Coming back to this again. This really did it for me, and now I get Cody. It took me a while but I got there :-) Great choice of song as well. I think it's between Cody and Chloe -and possibly Jolan - for the win this year (at least, if the voting public has any common sense).
