@@EndlessRVing thanks for your interest in answering my comment. I have read the specs several times. Hoping that maybe it will appear in my driveway some day. Haha. I turned 77 this weekend and not wanting to go into more debt at this time. But it’s a dream.
Very nice coach indeed. I'll always contend Winnebago is a class act. Our 2018 Sunstar 32YE that we bought at the Hershey show in 2017 has never had to return to the dealer for a problem. Their customer support is exceptional which is how I resolved the minor problems that one can expect with a new RV. They even provided me with miscellaneous parts under warranty for repairs performed myself thereby avoiding lengthy stays at the dealer’s lot. I can actually get on board with their operator interface system too since they developed it. I couldn’t be comfortable with the Firefly system having worked on similar industrial type architectures, I know what can go wrong. But we're happy to say we love our coach and have no intentions of trading it anytime soon. Thanks Winnebago, and thanks Guys for another great video.
Beautiful! Love all the extras. The lithium package, the tank sizes, the storages, just loved it. Was ready to go buy one until the Ccc. Our e-bikes , luggage, food, leave no weight for the grand babies. 😢 #nostuff
I was watching a lady cooking on her YT the day and she was taking about RV’ing and she said, “I’m thinking about getting one of those winner bagels and just driving around.” 😂😂
Choose no bunk and no AWD and you save 330 lbs. Keep only one 320 battery and remove the generator and you save 125 more lbs. 1150 is enough if you are careful. But you are right , a version on 4500 with same design would give plenty if cargo capacity.
I would like to know how many air conditioners are in there. All so does the dining room table close down? And can you make the dining room table bigger than what it is? What kind of slide it's on that?
And the size is small enough to not scare people...which means it has to be more Ikea Swedish designed like...which gets a premium because people will pay it!
@@EndlessRVingit weights 206 lbs more so occc will be too low under 700, that’s why you cannot select the bunk with awd, the occc would be unusable. The best setting is no bunk, no awd, no generator, one 320 battery and the dual alternator is included. You will get 1100 lbs.
I didn't check this one out at Hershey... I'm sure the cargo capacity means you won't be using all that outside storage. I wouldn't tow more than 3000 lbs small car- the specs say 4000 available but never a great idea to max it out regularly- that's tough on a motor and transmission... especially a TURBO motor with that sort of heat generated. Not The interior layout is gold, though. Murphy bed over power leather recliners and able to use the bed with slide in are UNBELIEVABLE features. I think ERV should buy this and let us demo it for a year.
Nice rig. We have a 2022 View. You failed to mention that you get a worthless awning. It’s by Carefree and it’s been anything but carefree. As it’s integrated into the body of the rig, there is no option to replace it. Be aware of the pertinent recalls on it.
Thank you for reviewing this Winnebago 24t. I actually received a call from Winnebago in July and asked if I was still interest in this model. It’s great for a couple. The only thing I wish it was offered with all wheel drive or 4X4 and a larger cargo capacity. She said no to the only concerns I had. I would have bought the 24T if it had those two options. I thought it funny when Matt interrupted your review. 😅
Dear Winnebago: We need a doggie/cat door that goes from the bathroom to the garage so we can put the cats litter box there to keep the smell there. We use a litter robot that needs power; which I see is already there. Make the doggie door option large, medium or small. Also, for dog owners, part of the garage could be dedicated to a dog house for when the dog wants to get away and sleep.
@@PSLnyc cargo carrying capacity. This includes people, clothes, food, various and sundry items, tools….everything you need. Just a single adult and their needed supplies would probably max out this units capacity, and possibly exceed it, which would add a very large increase of stress to the frame and suspension. Not to mention the engine
Better capacity if you get the low-profile front cap, saves over 100 pounds. You can get another 100 pounds or so if you get the elevated AWD version and go to super singles tires. Even more savings if you get rid of Truma heat/hot water and put in a diesel unit like Webasto or Timberline. Ditch the gas cooktop and just do induction. Then you can remove the 80 pound propane tank.
@@EndlessRVing But only with the lower profile model that does not have the cab over sleeping area. Also AWD has less ccc than the no cab over equivalent.
First thing I would do if I bought this very expensive and beautiful coach is have them remove the large, janky and _crooked_ General RV slapped next to the door.
It's a shame it's essentially useless with the CCC. I like the leather color a lot. I dislike what they are using for flooring, seems like mud would just ground into the weave, much rather have a vinyl plank type surface to vacuum or swiffer mop. Would love to see a twin bed floorplan instead of a murphy bed.
Great review, MJ and IZZY, you covered it very well! This Class C Winnebago is so nice it makes me feel like our DS is too big! So many features packed into a small space, very efficiently engineered! I really like the saddle color of the upholstered furniture, I've had cars with leather seats in that same color, it is a favorite of mine, I think it looks very elegant, very upscale.
Like the desk and chair area. I always instantly dismiss lounge chair setups because of no place to do work - this solves that problem. I’d rather have a wet bath and more living space but understand many demand dry bath setups.
Nice class C, I am definitely a big fan of the color! Its good to see other colors beside black and gray! I’m not a fan of the Murphy bed though. I can see it being a good floor plan for some, just not my preference.
Love the rust color upholstery and the newer cabinet design. Add to that the swing out storage rather than the flip up of the prior generation. Also the two burner stove as so many are going to single burner. Not a fan of what I call the either/or living/murphy bed, but not both at the same time as no separate living area if one's partner wants to turn in early or sleep in. Unfortunately, the other murphy bed floorplan, the 24D, is the prior generation design. While 800 OCCC can work for a couple, but preferring at least 900 or more, the bigger question - with all that massive storage, with that low OCCC...what are you going to store without exceeding the weight limitation?
If optioned with the low profile front cap instead of bunk you add something like 125 lbs to the OCCC which is much better. That would make it a couple’s coach only.
For what it's worth, the cab-over-bunk has a nice cut-away in the roof of the cab making it easy to walk from the cab to the coach. The overhead storage option doesn't have this cut-away, which means a lot of ducking to in and out of the cab seats.
The hanging bar in the shower has to go!! She almost hit herself on it. They have the retractable hanging line that Airstream includes in their wet baths which is what they should’ve went with. This way when you’re done drying or if you want to shower, you just retract it. I appreciate having something to hang your wet clothes but that certainly isn’t the way they should’ve gone! 😂 Very nice RV though! 👍
2.0L 4 cylinder engine..? GARBAGE. Trailer hitch rated at 5k… Your just asking for trouble. You’ll be maxed when you load your stuff and spouse. You will barely be able to move and they want 200k. A fool and their money are easily parted…
This is under the Thor umbrella and that is a big no for me. I have no idea why everybody is pushing Thor motor homes. It is common knowledge the quality has taken a huge downhill slide.
I really don't understand why you had to go to another RV to show the Murphy bed in the down position, but then only had it on-screen for like 3 seconds before focusing the camera on what's her face, with her just yammering on and on? dumb. I mean, we all know what a damn M-bed looks like, but if you're gonna show it, at least give the viewers some time to gaze upon it. I swear you and these other YT'ers spend too much time with the cameras on themselves instead of on the product; matt is really bad about this and I can't imagine anyone really wanting to see his OWA and bad comb-over sitting on a toilet.
