Stephanie, do NOT leave the propane cut-over switch in the middle. Let one tank empty and then switch it over. This way you can get the empty tank filled without interruption. If you leave it in the middle, both tanks will equalize and go empty at the same time. Then you’re in a real jam. Also, if you have the room get a 3rd 20 lb tank for a reserve.
A couple of hints...Leave the propane cutover switch in the center. That way it will automatically switch over to the other tank when the first one is empty. You don't want the first tank to run out in the middle of cooking or in the middle of the night with the furnace running. That green indicator will switch to red when the first tank is empty. When filling the fresh water tank use the blue hose or the white hose. Those are drinking water hoses. Blank tank flush hoses are black or orange and I noticed you were filling the fresh water tank with your black tank flush hose. That's pretty universal in the RV world. And if you use bleach to sanitize your fresh water tank only use the original type of bleach that your great grandmother used. Don't use the no splash or other type of bleach. Plain old original bleach only.
Thank you very much for the tips! ☀️ That hose I used was not my black tank flush hose, I don’t have one. But I borrowed it from my neighbor, I didn’t know it was a black tank flush hose! Thank you for pointing that out!! Omg
That is great news about your house. Here are a couple of recommendations for you: Get some clear Bins (2) I use the Hefty 34-Qt Bins (23.98in w x 16.81in D x 6.6 in H) These will fit through the back and will fit on the Drivers Side. (You might have to work on the back corner piece that blocks the wires if you want to get a couple of more inches but these work great.) This way you can put all your Hoses/ Filter / etc in one and in the other put all the sewer connections etc to keep separated. BTW when you roll up you water hose connect the ends together and that way they will not leak out. Another suggestion is get a Small Tool Box to put odds and ends in. The small ones will fit through the small doors even the side. Once you get the 2 clear bins filled up then you can use another to put under the Passenger side bed to put items from the trailer entry (Just leave the top off and that way you have another storage without them moving. one more thing - get rid of the plastic chalks and get some rubber ones - believe me you will be glad you did when you start to go to windy places the plastic ones will blow away but the Rubber ones will stay put.
Congratulations Stephanie on the sale of your house. Hope everything goes smoothly. You are so good at making and editing your videos. I cant belive how organized you are but living in an rv ffull time myself i understand how important it is. One thing i did in my bays was put down some of the padded shelf liners. It really keeps things from sliding around. Its inexpensive, comes in several colors and removes easily to clean out your bays. All the best to you, stay safe!😊❤
Nice about the house! I'm in the throes of doing my re-occupancy permit items (my county makes the seller get the house up to safety codes). I'm actually ordering a debris/junk hopper today for a major clean-out as well. Between that and Goodwill, I'll be a minimalist in no time. Hopefully, by the mid/end of the summer, I'll be where you are today. 🙂 One thing I would suggest is mouse proofing your trailer... especially if you'll be parked for periods of time doing nursing work. Greatstuff, Tomcat foam or similar, and/or fine steel wool in entry points underneath... plumbing, wiring holes, etc. Also, it's a good idea to have a couple basic steel traps in storage, just in case they sneak in. Peanut butter is a really good bait. A lot of folks swear by natural oils like peppermint. However, these take constant reapplications to keep it strong enough to deter, so it becomes cost prohibitive unless you have a money tree. Good luck!
Haha I love the wash music. Seriously washing an RV is such a mammoth task. I've been putting off doing mine for months. Perhaps you have inspired me. Thanks for the tip on the launch across from swampy's at rainbow river. Hit it two weeks ago and had a blast.
@@censoredeveryday3320I stay at campgrounds, harvest host sites, all over the place. I have apps on my phone to research areas to stay ☀️ and I love little spaces so it doesn’t bother me being in a small living area, I prefer it 👍 But I’m an outdoor person so it evens out ☀️
I am grateful for my many friends. It is exciting to watch you learn about campers quickly, you are doing awesome Stephanie. Very organized storage inside and out. A couple things I do is connect my water hose to itself keeping things from getting into it. My griddle cook surface stores upside down over the burner. It fits better in the storage bag I purchased along with the propane hose. Congratulations on being close to home sale and to your travel adventure continuing.
I love and soon plan to get a rig just like yours but if I planned to live in it fulltime, I've would've gotten something a bit larger with more storage and with a dry bath. Even a 20' with a slide would give you tons more space to stretch out and relax. I predict you will soon upgrade. Good luck.
Oh yeah, I’m already thinking it would be nice to have a dry bath and more sitting space. But this is a super great starter ☀️ I will have my airstream in the future with all of these things, but for now, I’m super grateful for what I have 😁
Nice video! Congratulations on getting your house under contract. I wish we had a fresh water tank release valve like the one you have. Ours is just a tiny thing that takes a long time to empty. Safe travels!
Probably my favorite thing I did to my 15tb since full timing in it is the oxygenics shower head!! It’s night and day difference compared to the one that comes with it highly recommended.
Congratulations congratulations on the upcoming house sale. Hope everything works smoothly. Hoping our will cross one day :-). Let the adventure continue 😊
I'm not being picky, I love how meticulous you are! Just wanted to say, your grill is actually a griddle, which means it will need to be seasoned to work properly, and cleaned differently!
I love this lol, thank you for the correction ☀️ Yes, it’s a griddle and I do season it, like my cast iron pan! I have used it as you will see in previous videos ☀️ Thank you for correcting me as I’m alittle worried about wording things wrong 🤓
Its so funny that I found this video tonight. Congrats on the pending sale. I was just looking at how dirty my guy is sitting under a tree and covered with pollen in the front. Our driveway is dirt and grass and it's cloudy and cold outside so I gave mine a "spit bath" and hand washed him. I wonder if I should take him to a hand washing place with a power washer. Thoughts on that?
I am surprised it took so long to sell the house given that it's in Florida. My understanding is that millions have been moving there and houses are in short supply
The market is slow right now, might be picking up soon. Seems like it’s fluctuating alot. I thought it would sell faster as well but I’m grateful ☀️ The timing is actually perfect 🤩
@@jeremymcmichael7371 I’m not 100% sure, but in my research, to kill algae and sanitize the tank, you put 1/2 cup of bleach in 30 gallons of water and let sit overnight and rinse the tank. But it depends on how big your tank is and such so do your research if considering
Let me know your ideas, opionions and recommendations ☀️

I thought about doing that but I don’t want to damage anything with the high water pressure, but maybe if your careful it would be ok 👍

The entire Pacific Northwest ☀️

Why did you wrench your freshwater tank out?
Letting water sit in the fresh water tank for a long period of time will grow algae and bacteria, especially in Florida ☀️
Do you need to put a little bit of chlorine in
