Looks good, two suggestions. 1, get a p-touch type label maker, 2, start a spreadsheet (if you are using google, then just use Sheets) to keep track of all your gear, when you bought it, how much, how much you paid, where you bought it, etc. Super useful and if you if you sell older rods, reels, you can keep a record of the oldest, how much you paid, etc.

My dad always said if I could find a girl who can filet a perch, I should marry her. You are high value women and you’re both gonna have great lives.A tackle room! So cool.
There’s a great opportunity to put a desk in that room. Pull the couch out, put the rods where the couch is and put a desk where the rods are. Then you’ll have a place to do computer work, and I do t know if you do any of your own rigging, but have room for that too. You can put shelves above the desk for storing tackle you use for rigging, or a place to keep your computers when not in use. If you want to keep the couch, hang a sheet of plywood from the ceiling and mount your rods to the underside of that. High enough to be out of the way but within reach. The snackle boxes are an awesome idea. Now my kids want to go charter with you. Maybe someday if I find myself on that side of the country we’ll look you up.
I agree with E Davis, you need a proper rigging bench with Line Spoolers and winders, and maybe even a sink for rigging baits with a refrigerator and a freezer...
You know the ways lads have a man cave, full of video games and a comfortable couch. Meet the twins idea of a woman cave, they even have a comfy couch to sit and look at their fishing gear. LOL these two are absolutely nuts about fishing and I love it.

That was fun. However, I would get rid of the sofa and put in a work table, additional shelving on that wall with maybe two "bungee" stools. Add in a computer and few screens (or just some screens and connect to your laptops) and you have excursion planning area.

That is so thoughtful and sweet (no pun intended) of you guys. I watched the video trying to get some ideas for organizing my fly tying materials. And trying to figure out a good balance for my fresh and saltwater gear. If I ever get the chance I would love to book a charter for my dad and I to go offshore. We just celebrated his 75th birthday. I took him to Cape Hatteras one year and he caught a 59” 60 lb cobia and he was over the moon with that catch. Keep up the videos, great job! You more than earned a sub on this end!
What’s the best combo conventional reel and rod you would recommend? I’m looking into the raptor Avet reel don’t know what rod to go with. And what would you recommend for spinning too.
