Its so great that your appointment went well and you didnt have to fight them for access to what your body needs from your chair

I can't imagine picking a color or style. 😯 I'd probably stutter and want to see a catalog of colors, haha. I currently use a walker everyday except my bad days or if a day turns into one, then I get my wheelchair out. Which is a wide, heavy hospital-like chair I got from a yard sale long before any doctors took me seriously. I can't lift it in and out of the car anymore, and half the days I can't wheel it through a store either, I've declined so quickly recently. I have Fibromyalgia and maybe POTS, currently working on a diagnosis. I'm tired of collapsing and gasping for air while I walk at the speed of my grandma with her cane, its exhausting, painful and frustrating.

Because a wheelchair is made to assist a person. And guess what it was assisting me at the time of this video.
Have you seen old people in them? Most can walk but they need help so they use a chair. Watch my videos it could answer your questions.

Not just people who are paralyzed need a chair. I have a condition called Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. I also have hypo mobility in my knees and hips. POTS: Symptoms related to the reduced blood volume that occurs when standing up.
This syndrome is usually triggered when a person stands up after lying or sitting down.causing them to faint regularly. So for me wing or stand for a period of time causing these symptoms. Not for getting my other hand full of conditions like MCAS that cause me to collapse of the floor. The chair is used part time only when needed.

The Adolphus Chronicles I’m aware, I was just curious why you needed one.

@@SarahjeanandAlicia so is that why they found you face down in your backyard when you broke a bone in 2 places...the POTS? I can understand why if you walk, you use a chair because I had a horrible bone infection, was in a lot of pain when I walked and very slow. But wouldn't the exertion in the chair also trigger fainting?

@@morgancalvi6675 I have pots as well, and in my case, exertion sometimes can be tiring, but it's the change in position from sitting to standing that is the trigger for full fainting episodes. I use a chair part time due to it, as I've passed out many times in school and shopping, and any other time of long walking or standing, and in one case fractured my wrist because of it. My chair gives me freedom to live more like a healthy teen my age.
