I am so glad people have mentioned how wild this was for back then in the K-Pop scene, not just for using healthily-built USA dancers, and Junsu's androgynous appearance, but it was also a straight up critique that people should be listening to what they wanted and not being force-fed the prescribed K-pop sound of the big agencies. XIA is still an active singer.. he used to be a part of group called TVXQ (used to have 5 members) from SM Ent.. then, he n the other 2 members left n form a group JYJ, which they got lots of struggle going on as SM Ent. really abuse their power n ganged up with broadcasting company resulting them not be able to perform on any broadcast shows 🙃 but, they didn't give up n start everything again from the scratch.. the other two members is focusing on acting, while XIA is focusing on musical theatre.. they do still release solo albums despite the limitations..

I don't know if this is for you but if you want something that's more focused on vocals rather than dance, check out 'Yesterday' or his musical performances like Mozart or Dracula. Someone else you should definitely check out is Kim Jaejoong. He does Pop/rock and he's amazing. Maybe try his songs 'Mine' or 'Big revolution'. For ballads, definitely check out 'Run away' or 'All that glitters'.
