Kim Jaejoong. My old world before BTS. TVXQ (when they were 5) and Kim Jaejoong was an experience. This song got me all nostalgic. His voice is a sound no one living should ever miss out on in their lifetime. Thank you for reviewing him. Now I have to brush away the dust from that beloved playlist and listen to him again and fall into the rabbit hole that is TVXQ.
JJ loves rock and gets his inspiration from J-Rock. Hyde in particular has had a huge influence on Jaejoong. He's a great artist that definitely does not get enough recognition for his craft.
He was an excellent solder too. When he was discharged , he was only one chosen to be given title of honorable solder amongst his regiment. I like him he was in JYJ.
Jaejoong!!! He was first bias from 2nd gen group DBSK. I'm still mad at SM for destroying DBSK 5. Besides Big Bang they were the biggest group at the time but glad JYJ fought back for better idol treatment/ contracts. So sad that SM blacklisted them.

He's the most legendary and inspirational singer I feel in Korea, but it's really heartbreaking that he hasn't been able to appear on TV and radio for 15 years. I'm late to the party, but thank you so much for reacting to this. This song has a lot of significance to Jaejoong's long-time fans because of the circumstances around when it was released. At the time, he had just come out of a 3-year legal battle with his former management company which resulted in him being blacklisted and unable to promote through virtually all Korean and Japanese mainstream media channels - something that's only just started to relax slightly this year. The lyrics of this song contain his feelings during that time. The fact that he leaned so heavily into rock for his solo debut was an act of rebellion as well - he's always loved the genre and has a great voice and sense for it, but he had such limited artistic freedom with his old management that he was never able to truly explore it until this point in his career.

He is legendary, 2nd generation K-pop idol, but truly an artist in every right... he does play piano really well BTW... if you think he sounds good singing rock/metal... wait till you hear him sing ballads... his voice gets into my very core and makes me cry... he is just soooo good! He is truly a multiple threat... he sings, dances, acts, plays instruments and composes, and is just mesmerizing to watch live in concert... plus he never seems to grow old. When the group split due to a dispute with their record label two members stayed with SM and the other three members became JYJ. Jaejoong, Junsu and Yuchun. You should check out some of their MV's like Backseat, Get Out and Heaven. JYJ's live acoustic performance of Be My Girl is nice too. Of the two members who stayed with SM, Changmin and Yunho, I'd recommend their MV's Spellbound and Keep Your Head Up. Junsu also had solo projects and is a very talented singer and performing artist I'd recommend his MV Tarantallegra and Flower. Jaejoong's MV Just Another Girl is also nice.
