Marcos Pantani, nunca usou doping,ele só se alimentava muito bem, e treinava muitas subidas pesadas,creio que ele e inocente até hoje jamais eu me esquecerei desse eterno escalador Pantani yes Champions.

@@Haytabike peccato che il telaio sia rotto nella zona sterzo.....era un difetto molto diffuso su quel tipo di telaio....ottima saldatura,ma non si poteva rifinire poi ritoccare quel punto?

I sold a Bianchi EV2 Pantani TdF 2000 “pink” rep on flee bay a few months back. It should now be in Thailand. He has fans all over the world.
The factory built the frame especially for my wife in a very small size complete with her name on it. She rode it on the Etape in 2002 and then rarely after.
Sold complete with all the original Campag gear and no cracks in the frame. Unusual that as the frame was paper thin.
We have been to his mausoleum several times and met him in Riccione. Great cyclist and inspirational in his climbing.

This might be my favorite build yet... I was also excited to see that he is human. The moment where he had to peel the tape open with his teeth was the first time that he looked human. Usually everything is so precise and well planned... OK he then went through the rest of the build with the usual smoothness and assuredness. So much of this build was perfect... the stem, the straight block on the rear, the campagnolo... loved the video!

Big Pantani fan here but those frames were noodles and cracked everywhere. Even at my 5’10/137...still had to pinch TT w/knees on descents.

@@Haytabike 6,7 kg with alloy rims and a alloy frame (the only modern part is the fork), I wonder how they achieved this lightweight bike. The frame has to be very thin to be that lightweight.
