Blows my mind how people are able to bench without clamps. My best is only 195 for 8 but my whole body is so imbalanced I have to use clamps because my left side is somehow stronger than my right even though I’m right handed and I can curl more with my right hand.
@@scottericksonwasted there’s a video I did a while ago with my routine posted, it might be under the lifting playlist I’ll see if I can find it for you. It was from like 2019 or 2020
Hi. I found your channel through a comment you left, saying you had a video about something called MHC complex. What video is that? Also, good gob on the PR. My best is 200x12 or 225x7, so I can appreciate your accomplishment. Do you lift in order to improve appearance (among other reasons)? Because if you do, pardon my unsolicited rando opinion, I think you'd look much better 15-20lb leaner.
Hi Daniel, to answer your question the video is called “opposing immune systems and their role in attraction: take the musk pill” I’ll try to link it here. But sometimes TH-cam deletes the links thinking they’re spam. I primarily lift for strength. But having been lean with a 6 pack in the past, it would be nice to get back there one day. (It’s easier when you’re young) but I have lost 25lbs since last year. Usually I can see Abs when I’m in the 170-175lb range. I’m 185lbs now, down from 205 or 210 last year.
@@jaytahoe Thanks, I'll check it out. (I looked through your list of vids for a title that would indicate the topic, don't think I saw this one.) How has your strength fared after the 20lb drop in weight? At 5'11, I got down to 162, which was easily visible abs (I've some people call the leanness I reached "10%," but I prefer a more conservative estimate). I bulked up to 183-184, probably too much fat, easily at least 50%, maybe as much as 70%, but the strength went through the roof. At 179 now, I've maintained the strength, but I fear it'll weaken by 10% at least, probably closer to 15%. I wish there was surefire way of retaining it - sucks to see your numbers go down as you lean out!
@@danieltemelkovski9828 so believe it or not. And if you watch my shorts, I post them semi-regularly, I’m actually still hitting PRs as I drop weight. I never benched 300 when I was 200lbs + but launched 305 when I was about 185. But I also think I haven’t reached my first major plateau yet, but I know it’s coming, and of course the PRs aren’t coming as consistently as when I first started getting back into it. Now it’s every month or two instead of every week or two I’d hit a new PR
@@jaytahoe That's really good then. I wonder if it's bf% related. Not to jinx you (lol), but the three or four times I've cut to very lean levels, it's been over the last 4-5lbs of fat loss that my strength dipped gravely. Or perhaps that's not a general principle, simply unique to me (or the way I went about it).
This is superb Jay Tahoe.
Thanks sir more to come!
Prs getting big now

Thanks for stopping by. To help you balance I can recommend switching to dumbbells for a while, it helps me with my balance too.
do you have your weekly routine posted somewhere? looking to model something new
