I always did very similar but just used a 4 gallon inside the 5 gallon since the tops were the same it wouldn't fall in so no need to have the pvc in the bottom.

Hey Ernie! Do you ever find any lode specimens in Gold Creek or mostly fines?
Mostly fines like in my videos. My son and my friend Kyle have found small nuggets. No lode at all, not even in the mines…yet 🤗
