- In part two of the Mini Moab group crawl with the Axial Capra I'm still trying out some hardlines with my friend Dave from Utah on his visit to the Phoenix area.
It was thanks to Dave for the Awesome metal axles that I'm running on the Capra after taking the stock units for Sgt Rock, I'm really having fun running this buggy again!
It was great to be able to crawl with Dave again and I look forward to being able to run with him again!
Thanks for watching and be sure to come back for more Cactus Crawlers RC!
Great lines that place always looks like paradise
Thanks Brent! Yeah I really like that spot, it's become my first choice go to spot! Doesn't hurt that it's about a half hour drive from my house! Let me know if you ever make it out here, I'll take you there!
Ouch that first tumble hurt lucky capras are tough they like to flip over a lot lol they can side hill like a gecko though those rocks must have grip like sandpaper some of the vertical sections are unbelievable that last climb was gold redcat struggling up capra overtakes nice work Mike have a great weekend mate 👊
Thanks Mark! Yeah those rocks are really grippy which is why it's such a popular spot. Even the stock RTRs look good out there! The Capra has become known in the group as the "cheater Capra" since it does so well now, that's why I was calling out as being a cheater on the overtaking climb! Lol! I hope you have a great weekend too bud!
Killer vid dude!!
Capra did great out there!!
Do you have front banded lately feel
Like found sweet spot with a band in middle on a couple rigs really just need chassis to stay down when hitting steeps and drop when on other terrains….we’ll see.rofht off bat your axles gotta be lot heavier then axial plastic….love 3:14 when two trucks roll !!!
@@rcarty419 yeah I’m running a single hair tie band on the front, Capra has two hooks on the chassis under the hood in the front that I use to band onto and the other end wraps around the servo. The axles are way heavier than stock ones and there’s 20% overdrive in the front. Definitely gotta show some roll overs, can’t only show the accomplished climbs, right? Thanks for checking out the video brother, have a great weekend!
