А что если потом сделать доску из обрезков досок сделанных из обрезков... А потом и из их обрезков и следующих... А потом собрать опилки и пустить их на ДСП... Это ж безотходное производство получается.

It'd be a lot easier to just cut it into 6 to 10" pieces and sell a few chunks per lot on ebay.... the carvers would love it. But, cool cutting boards....

Ahh the kids were great... the rest with to many adverts was a waste of good time and machinery, something relatively easy for many people to do with a table saw thickenesser or electric planer for the odd chopping board, there is not much skill with this machinery

I love end grain wood in all forms, and this was a fantastic job. However to my taste a little too chaotic when the beauty of the different grains gets overpowered by the patterns from the different types of wood. But now that's just my opinion, fantastic craftsmanship!

Masha'Allah, very nice! Where did you learn how to work with wood? I have two sons whom I would love to learn how to work with tools the way my father did. He's too old now and won't be able to teach them how to work with wood/cars, etc. He learned most of the things he knows with time, experimenting, etc. Back in NYC they actually have shops within the public school system that would teach us the basics but I don't know anywhere in Miami.
Thanks for sharing, I was intrigued by your videos. Take care!

Very pretty but the boards might be more appropriate hanging on the wall as decorations. I've used for many years a cutting board made of solid white oak. Small cut pieces of food are easily seen against a dark tan background. A little mineral oil from time time and this board should last 100 years...already has 25 years of use. It is two sided so I flip it every six months or so.

Thank you for your great videos!
I want to ask, as a general rule. While making boards, Is it ok to cut strips on the sliding table saw, and to glue them straight away without sanding/planing? or do you have to plane them before every time?

      Thanks!
I always plane or sand edge grain strips. But sometimes I skip this operation when saw end grain strips. It depend on the quality of the saw blade.
