- Secret Service officials rejected Donald Trump’s request for more security in the two years leading up to the assassination attempt, according to The Washington Post.
More details are emerging about the Secret Service’s failures from the day of the shooting at the former president’s Pennsylvania rally last week.
The alleged would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks had reportedly flown a drone to get aerial footage of the western Pennsylvania fairgrounds before Mr Trump was set to go on stage and speak.

It just proves that they didn't coordinate things very well if they don't agree on who was responsible for the outer area, including that building.
The bottom line is that the Secret service didn't secure a building with a direct line of fire at the stage where DJT was speaking. It's completely unacceptable! People need to be fired and held accountable criminally for the terrible failure that day.

There was a second shooter, the first set of gunfire was heard more muffled than the second round. I've been around firearms all my life and those first 3 shots came from indoors...We still have a shooter at large, and Crooks was the Patsy and a perfect distraction!
I've seen one video clip that shows that there was an open window in the taller building immediately behind the building that the "shooter/patsy" was located, so almost the same distance and with virtually the same firing line. I don't believe for a minute that Crooks was the "lone gunman" that explanation does not wash for so many reasons.

There has been a software analysis on the shots fired, the first three was analyzed and then six more were analyzed, and it was reported that five of those shots came from a different firearm. And one shot was from the Secret Service sniper’s rifle. The link is below.
