McCormick ran a great campaign and absolutely deserves credit for that as well as some apologies from people who underestimated him, but I still am fairly skeptical of him as a senator. I don't know if he'll be a Murkowski or Romney tier senator where he constantly screws us over, but I certainly don't see him being much of a fighter in the chamber either. Dave still very much has HUGE neocon establishment GOP bonafides that I don't think will easily go away.

Mark lamb is perfect! He’s a sheriff which means he’s for law and order which is an absolute in a swing state and a border state, he’s LDS which will help him out with that voting block that isn’t so pro trump, he can speak Spanish which will help him with Hispanic voters, and he’s a genuine down to earth guy and non polarizing. Anything you could’ve gotten with Lake, you’ll get with Mark Lamb, he just isn’t a know it all prick. Arizona is a red state so long as you’re a decent human being and honors John McCain instead of trashing him and his family and supporters.

    • @vision-dz6cm

@cyrus3229 "open to electing republicans" in very rare circumstances where everything has to go right. Holding an open gubernatorial seat in a state normally opposed to your party is possible, but even with the "electable" candidates, they still most often lose by a decent amount. Just look at dems in 2020 for Montana, 2016 for Missouri, 2014 for Arkansas, 2010 for Oklahoma, the list goes on.
