Hell, he should be the senator elect right now. It's a shame people didn't start to realize that Lake was utterly screwed in the general election until it was too late.
Maybe this could be a Dave McCormick situation where Robson is much better than we think. I don't know enough about her btw. Maybe she's terrible, maybe she's amazing. I just don't know
McCormick ran a great campaign and absolutely deserves credit for that as well as some apologies from people who underestimated him, but I still am fairly skeptical of him as a senator. I don't know if he'll be a Murkowski or Romney tier senator where he constantly screws us over, but I certainly don't see him being much of a fighter in the chamber either. Dave still very much has HUGE neocon establishment GOP bonafides that I don't think will easily go away.
@@NickTheEnlightenedhe won’t be a fighter and pusher of the envolope like Vance, but he’ll be a solid conservative vote when we need it. He’ll probably be in the Rubio, Scott, Blackburn tier. Top half of Republican senators

Anything you could’ve gotten with Lake, you’ll get with Mark Lamb, he just isn’t a know it all prick. @@dvferyanceYes, but just because it's not the WORST endorsement Trump could've made doesn't mean it still couldn't have been a hell of a lot better. I understand we can't run schizo Lake types anymore in a state like AZ, but that doesn't mean we have to run Susan Collins types either.
@@dvferyance Robson is a gold digger who scammed elderly people last time she ran. Sure, she's not as bad as Lake, but she's still an awful candidate (probably Martha McSally tier or worse). Mark Lamb and Kimberly Yee are better both on policy and electability.
She did endorse Lake, so I will take her. Unfortunately, Trump made the decision and it’s unlikely Mark Lamb or Kimberly Yee would win the primary (even though I would prefer them)
I support Karin Taylor Robson for governor, Kimberly Yee for Secretary of State and Mark Lamb for attorney general, KTR is pretty weak but would easily defeat Hobbs.
I hope not, but given that he is surrounding himself with people with sketchy liberal pasts like Elon Musk (and even Tulsi Gabbard despite the fact that I like her foreign policy views), it's hard to say for sure. We can only hope he's not being coerced by them to accept leftist social values.
No, i think the concern is warranted but unfounded dooming. The party is shifting away from neocons for good and their support is only shrinking over time It is important to make good endorsements still, and overall Trump has gotten better (mainly because the people around him are better). We’re about to have VP JD Vance and Kash Patel as FBI Director guys, just step back and appreciate that people like that are in charge and will define the party going forward
I would be incredibly stunned if Brnovich even attempts to run for anything ever again after how badly he imploded in 2022. He's pretty much completely dead and irrelevant as a politician and he wouldn't gain any traction at all should he somehow be crazy enough to run in 2026 or anytime afterwards.
@ Yea he’s pretty irrelevant but I was trying to think of any recently elected statewide republicans who could run. I preferred Masters over him in the senate primary but he’s obviously not doing much now and probably doesn’t have plans. Guess we’re stuck with Robson (or maaaybe Yee or Lamb)
Well last time we picked the maga candidates they all lost. Lake 2x, finchem, hamadeh, masters. It would be the smart thing to run someone that can actually win. Better a “Rino” than a dem Edit: I shouldn’t have said maga candidates, there’s plenty of good maga candidates. Im talking about candidates who have no substance and run purely on how much they love Donald trump
Thats why we lost Maryland post hogan, because the Maryland GOP like idiots elected a maga candidate compared to the “rhino” candidate endorsed by Hogan.
@cyrus3229 Or it's because it's Maryland, one of the bluest states in the country??? Hogan didn't even get within 10 this year. We aren't winning Maryland regardless of the candidate, unless there are a huge series of coincidences favoring us.
@cyrus3229 "open to electing republicans" in very rare circumstances where everything has to go right. Holding an open gubernatorial seat in a state normally opposed to your party is possible, but even with the "electable" candidates, they still most often lose by a decent amount. I really don't get why Trump endorsed her.
She probably made some deal with him
I’d have to disagree
Eloouptipoole
Charlie Kirk should run for governor lol
Charlene Skirt
Mark Lamb should be governor.

No she can’t. She has a history of scamming senior citizens. Good luck with that in a state like Arizona. The nominee should be Mark Lamb or Kim Yee
Arizona is such a weird state
People don't like establishment picks, people should choose someone else
Oh no, not her. Although maybe she is like McCormick who we also hated in 2022, but he won when he was given the chance.
If Mark Lamb or someone better runs, Trump will unendorse her. Remember originally he endorsed Gibbons for OH senate and then changed to Vance
I hope you're right.
Another drama queen headline. You got to dial it down.
Kinda wanted Yee or Lamb to be our candidate for AZ-Gov. Hopefully Lamb runs for AG and Yee gets selected as Robson's running mate
Lamb wouldn’t qualify, he’s better for Lieutenant Governor. Robson should probably run instead for AG since she has a law degree.
