Army knows he’s been struggling alot in his roles all these times along with the massive growth of BTS and himself. He felt overwhelmed and a bit lost (loose himself). Through this song I feel he’s saying that he wants to be back to his trueself, be the right and comfortable person as he was. “come back to me” 💜

This is a really good point, I didn't think he would be referring to himself in 'come back to me'.

It's interesting. You're not the first Army that I've seen say that the music isn't like not their vibe but you know they're going to support it and there are somethings about it that they do like I'm an indie pop girlie so I love this

I am an indie girl too ! but this was before I discovered BTS.. so yes I love this from Namjoon. Even before , I feel like like he has sprinkles of indie touches from all his past works- so I know his soul is really indie /singer songwriter- where he could also venture on indie /alternative rap.

Love this. Like BTS led the way to show a group of artists, industry outsiders can do the impossible and make it big not obeying the rules. RM proves you dont have to sell out. You can be the artist you want. My theory in RMs work every mix tape and album is different from the last. His first self titled mix tape the track DO YOU( the song that says clearly he refuses to be labelled or boxed into any genre). He is continuously pushing boundaries. In a way thats what is also happening in the mv. RM wanders around depressed confused and unhappy through all these potential different lives and expectations never being comfortable. We see this has been so since he was small. At some point he becomes more comfortable in each scenario after being united with his other half/ self, and he can be more comfortable with others. But he still doesnt stay, he moves on finds himself and accompanies the woman( his other half Jung or Plato?) out of the maze of societies expectations to find non of it's real. In the light he sees its all fake sets designed and created by someone else. However with RM there is always light at the end. Hope of better futures now he can see what life is about, he is free of those boxes. There are several clues for ARMY buried within the MV. Pain Devine. During a conversation piece with Pharrell Williams they discussed judging lyrics by how painful they are to produce ...pain divine, devine inspiration?

Hi Sir A!!! The MV is based on the Midnight Library book. The Girl she was at the end was the librarian in the book & at the end of his life, she showed him the pissibilities of what his life would look like depending on his life choices. It's like different timelines of his life/lives.
Yes. This is what armys do. Supporting and not forcing d songs you dont vibe with & giving another listen/s to songs u dont feel in d first listen. I was also sceptical about it especially in the beginning. But listening to it for many times.. I now love it! 💙

I understand, when I heard him sing it live during Suga's D-Day Final Night I didn't vibe with it but it was a bare bones performance just the acoustic sound with out the added instrumentals towards the end. After watching the MV I wasn't sure I vibe with it either but I liked the added instrumentals but then I couldn't get it outta me head lol. It's grown on me a bit. It's funny cuz I absolutely adore his song Bicycle so you'd think I would vibed with it immediately but I'm still warming up to it. I'm interested to see what his other songs are like. Anitra's comments section had many great theories and I really liked a few of them.

Haven’t watched the reaction fully yet but, “bushy tits” in the intro had me dyingg Austin😭😂an analogy that had me confused but very intrigued at the same time🙂‍↔️😂
I haven’t came up with my own theories for the video, which is okay, I really love the song😭this is definitely a grower, I liked it first listen but my brain kept going back to it as the days went by, and everytime I listen to it I fall in love with it more, bit by bit. I love Joon’s slow songs on Indigo, his slower songs in general just fill me with so much familiarity and comfort. Idk how to explain it. And they for sure leave an impression that makes you want to go back to it and pick it apart in the best way possible. If the album is going full Indie Pop, such as this song, I just know I’m going to love it so much. I honestly can’t wait. It’s exciting hearing him try new sounds:)💜
Alright I’ll stop my rant 😭😂thank you for the reaction Austin! I hope your work week/week overall goes as best as it can be💜🩷

He pre-recorded a LOT for this album! There will be 4 MVs and a recorded "live" performance. The album is being described as alternative-pop, so it might not be your vibes - but hopefully you still enjoy the content. I think people put too much pressure on themselves to have an answer or a solid interpretation for a video like this. It's interesting to hear different people's thoughts, but I don't think there's one "correct" answer to art, and people can take away different things from the same piece - even if the only take away is something like "that was wild, now to move on with my life..." lol

As a reactor I feel like I have to add something or my own thoughts etc. Otherwise I would just be sitting here like 😍 and talking about how pretty he is. 😂

I really don't understand the "finally getting acting Namjoon" thing, honestly. 😅 What exactly do all of them do in their MVs if not act? 🤷🏻‍♀️ For me, the new "Acting Namjoon" would be a character in a drama without the framework of his music. 😏

I'm not sure about the true meaning of the MV, all I know is the woman who leads him through the door seems to be someone who is similarly lost between worlds/universes, and this sparks his curiosity and connects them, as they both seem to want to find a way out of this maze.
I guess I'm very emo, because the white light when they opened the door really made me think of death. Maybe the exit out of the maze is passing? But that does seem very depro as well.
