the serene girl, FOR ME, is his freedom: calm, happy, confident and determined when he stops feeling inadequate and insufficient, whatever the context, he has the self-confidence to pursue any possibility and experience in life 💜
Nice explanation of who you think the girl represents, I like it!!!!!!! I thought the girl could represent Army, he know she admires and loves him, as she helps him walk through the door with the 3 circles. This door, for me, represents the 3 years of their "hiatus" and he finds his happiness, his future walking with her through this door in his maze of life. 🤔 What do you think? I'm interested!!!!! In the end, only RM knows for sure!
@@nataliacoggins6769 oh, dearest, I love the creative freedom that Bangtan have been always giving to Army! as you said, only Nam could tell it, maybe he will, maybe not. personally I tend to not associate some symbols in MV's to Army when it comes to solo releases, but it is on me. to be honest, your vision is pretty fine and poetic and I appreciate it. 💜 (sorry about my English, I'm a brazilian Portuguese speaker... but I try)
Very true about most of their solo works. They keep BTS separate to focus on their individuality. I guess because I just 💜 them, as an Army I want to see myself in their solo works, as their songs are universal and relatable to everyone. But some, especially Jin with Moon and The Astronaut, and Jimin with Closer Than This, will specifically come out and say from the beginning it is about Army! Thanks for your response.❤
@@nataliacoggins6769 of course there are many dedicated songs to us, as it shoul be 🤭💜 by the way, including some in their solo works. Jiminssi's "bossa nova" was definitely made for us (and I like to believe that the genre is specially endeared by brazilian Army).
@@elisaferrazfernandes6654 Ooo, I just re-watched Suga's Agust D Daechwita - it's all BTS and Army!!!! The six boys in his group are BTS, the girl who gives him the car keys and the headbangers at the end all represent Army. Even the name of the gun at the end is an old "Army" pistol.😂😂😂😂😂 And you gave me a video to re-watch! ❤❤ 👍👍
He again wanted to make art. The MV director called it the Korean Avrngers as the top actors art directors lighting people etc all jumped at the chance to work with Rm. No 2min song for radio play here. This is an experience for longevity to soak into.
This song has grown on me so much after its release. I liked it first hearing it ofc, but I kept going back to it and I fall more in love with it bit by bit. The calmness and familiarity of the song is just so addicting. I love this switch of style for him and the video. The singing moments on Indigo were no doubt some of my favorite from him, and with Namjoon leaning further into the Indie pop lane, I can’t wait for the upcoming project 💜thanks for the reaction Pat!!
Joon has been talking a lot about the multiverse lately. He’s shared about Everything Everywhere All at Once and the book The Midnight Library. I’ve seen a lot of theories connecting this video to the book. All of the different possible versions of yourself. Some people think the woman who leads him through the door is ‘spring’ from the lyrics, some think she represents ARMY, some think she represents the subconscious.
One of my favorite things is when RM sings. And RM showcasing his poetic talents always is always an experience. Definitely this fits with Layover and Mono...and a few songs on Indigo all the same vibe
Pat! Omg you got me dying 🤣😂🤣 “What’s the orange for?” Lol I actually think RM is a different (person) version of himself each time. Maybe even different universes. I think maybe whatever u chose for your life, you chose as long as you are happy. …something like that.
🤔 yeah, I can see it. To me, life is like a maze, walking/running through doors for whatever reason(s) and you "suffer" or be "happy" because of your choice(s).
Every mix tape and album is different from the last. You cannot predict RM. Hes creatively experimental and fearless. So we do not know what his other tracks will be like. Ordered it so I wait with breathless impatience.
❤ I said its a vibe too! I think its about RM & his comfort or rather discomfort in different areas...his struggle with his identity, what he wants/needs & feeling inadequate....it seems similar in some ways to V's song/video Fri(end)s.....shows him facing himself & looking for happiness....comes down to Love yourself, Speak yourself. 💜
I felt as if this is about butterfly effect.... like u see him sitting with the girl he was fighting with but this time they are sitting in bed laughing so it means he did thing different and that's why at the end he is with his wife and daughter happily
I see it simply as, for everyone, life is a maze with doors you walk/run through and you see the "sad" or "happy" consequences of the choice. It's what his life could be, had he chosen different doors! Someone said, the last girl is himself finding himself. This makes sense, as he becomes relaxed. I also see her as Army, he knows/trusts her admiration and love for him. Army leads him out of the maze through the door with the 3 circles. Each year the earth circles the sun - so this door might represent the 3 years of BTS's "hiatus" and she (Army) leads him out of the maze through this door! What do you think? Only RM knows for sure!!!! Loved the stripped down melancholy tone of this very adult contemporary song. 💜
This is literally a masterpiece. Namjoon never disappoints. So excited for the whole album.

RM is literally just gonna the world something beautiful and very well produced and worth the time because of the lyrics
RM’s music is always ART!🫠💜❤️🔥

This song is over 6 mins long on spotify and other streaming platforms. Yet when it ends, I want it to be longer😭

Love videos like this, they tell a story and you can interpret any of the scenes the way you feel. IT IS PERFECT.
RM is pure art!! Love your video!
RM the most talented rapper, composer, songwriter, producer and human being ,every song he does has a different story and different emotions!!
Things I've learned today: do not watch/listen to Pat's reactions while you're at work. You will burst out laughing😂
Ahhh so glad you reacted to this, and Namjoon acted his ass off!
RM ❤
Also, V would do a great version of this song with his voice!!! I am so proud of Namjoon for doing something different.
Talking with Pharrell Williams they discussed you know when lyrics are good enough because they are painful enough. Pain divine.
Thanks for the reaction
'It might have said Pizza Hut, but it wasn't Pizza Hut' 😂💀 The way you wrote a whole dramatic backstory Killed Me.
love it.
Hey Pat!! I just love your videos as always! You crack me up! Lol. This video was amazing! Makes you think....outside the box. RM did his Thang!

A different RM! Slow rap kpop! Damn good!

This is such a comfort song☺️
Also Pat the song is actually 6:29 minutes on spotify and even the radio edit is more than 4 mins😆
Wow Over 6 Minutes? That's gonna be a vibe right there!💜
Yess! So happy he did not limit himself or the song
He is a best human and pure organic artist
Its a vibe! This side of Namjoon is my favorite!!😊
Hahah I love your reaction! I didn't like a lot of his new songs, but I like this one!
hes truly one of a kind. love namjoon and your reactions❣️ please react to DAY6 Killing Voice next🥹

Listen, I am gonna need RM to be part of the vocal line in 2025. We need this
He is just amazing

Your not tripping Pat, even the haircut 🤯
Let the beat play.... love the vibe💜
The bandaid above his eye....in a live he said he a little accident in the gym... by the way, this song sounds so familiar to me...why??
RM sang this song during Suga's D-Day concert - he already said its an unreleased song that time 💜

😢😢😢😅😅😅😂
Maybe she threw the lamp because he was at Pizza Hut
Yes the couple is giving straight queer couple, whatever that means.
1:20 the couple is ambiguous I'd say, cause i see a girl and boy but it sure seems also a lgbt couple
lol how did you come up with this 'story' lmao
